Summary: This is easily the worst computer I've ever bought. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but here's why: - The mouse cursor randomly resets itself every 1-5 minutes. If I'm typing, suddenly the cursor will move and I'll be typing on another part of the page. Think of how annoying that is every 1-5 minutes. (And I know how to type and not rest my palm on the touchpad.) - It freezes if you try to move between windows by clicking on the bottom bar.
Summary: DO NOT GET THIS LAPTOP. This is by far the worst of any electronic item that I have ever used or owned. The spacebar barely works. Even if I hit it really hard, it only registers about 1/2 of the time. Other than that, the build is obviously cheap and poor quality, not to mention that it runs windows 8, which is a whole other issue. I wouldn't pay $20 for this laptop if it were offered for sale at that price. Save yourself the trouble and buy anything else.
Summary: I do not usually leave reviews for anything but this computer is garbage. I had mostly heard good things about ASUS so when i was looking for a cheap laptop for school I didn't feel as scared spending so little on this laptop. My girlfriend helped pay for this as part of my birthday less then a year ago. A few months ago it began experiencing significant problems.
Summary: This is the worst laptop I have ever owned, and I have purchased many over the years. It feels cheap and poorly constructed. The key action is terrible and the space bar does not work half the time unless pressed in very specific spots. Worst of all there are no access bays on the underside to add memory or swap out the hard drive. You have to remove the plastic covering that surrounds the keyboard and the remove some very flimsy ribbon cables to get access.
Summary: I'm sure I would've had a better experience if Amazon was part of my buying process for this product, because they'd make up for what ASUS lacks- but I ended up purchasing this from a separate, very highly rated electronics store online, who just told me my issues were ASUS's problem. While some of my anger is for that online store, I'm still so upset with this product and ASUS that I wanted to share my opinion about them on here.
Summary: I bought the laptop last week. I opened it two days ago. The laptop seems over heated when you use it for over an hour, as is common with asus. If you want to pick this laptop up get a cooling pad or be prepared for crashes.
Summary: This is a bad laptop. my spacebar didnt work well, so i looked online and found that the problem was widespread with this model. the keys also dont register, there was an issue with zoom i had to fix, and the curser flies all over. it took 20 minutes to write a paragraph because the curser would jump to mid sentance or it would just fly across the screen and click on things. it would rarely register clicks on the first try. it was just bad.
Summary: Did not realize it had no place for a disc, just not the quality I thought it would be. Not happy at all. Would return it if I had the chance. But gave it as a gift. They really didn't care for it.
Bad laptop unless you use it for very basic things.

Summary: I bought this and promptly returned it for store credit. This works ok if you dont need to add ram, as if you not only have to unscrew the bottom but you have to take apart the insides of the laptop and it only holds one stick of RAM. so you either have to be a pc expert or take it to a shop and pay them to add RAM. I have never seen a laptop that didnt have a bay for adding RAM.
