Summary: I've owned this laptop for just over a year. Haven't had much problems with it at all. It has been great! I play lots of games and I was surprised to find out that this performs better than I thought on most games. It plays games like Borderlands 2, and even was playing Skyrim on it as well. Now the specs on the laptop are not terrible, but I was definitely happy about being able to do some gaming on it.

Summary: I had forgotten I purchased this while looking through my products to review. Guess it's time. I bought it as a gift for my brother in law and he uses it for his school projects which involves compiling and some CAD work. Obviously it's not a beast, but it functions well and performs fast enough to do the job.
Summary: Bought it because of ASUS's quality products. I have had many problems with it over the year and a half I have owned it. It ran well for the first 3 months but then started to slow down and crash with KERNAL failures. Then I was able to update to 8.1 and it ran well for another few months before it started having start-up and shut down problems. It sometimes takes 15 minutes to start up and/or shut down.
Summary: Like other reviewers, this laptop is, hands down, the worst laptop I've ever owned! We've had the motherboard replaced once within three months of purchasing it, and just after it was one year old, the motherboard failed again!!!! This is AFTER they repaired it back at ASUS. This time, its not in warranty, and the laptop is now basically a paperweight. The build quality on this model is horrendous to have multiple problems within one year of ownership.
