Summary: hands down the worst computer i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. my very first computer, which had 32mb of ram, was faster than this piece of junk. the amount of bloatwear is ridiculous! i'm pretty sure the bloatwear takes up more space on the hard drive than the os does.
Horrible Customer Service. Pray you don't have problems.

Summary: ASUS has the single worst customer service and warranty program I have ever had to deal with. If you do buy their product, you'd better pray that you don't have any problems with it, because you won't get any help from ASUS. In the year that I had one of their laptops, mine broke down 5 times.
Summary: This came installed with Windows 8 and after a few days it kept telling my version could not be activated and I have to call customer service to get it to work. The message kept coming up and prompting me to activate and then when I tried, it would tell me my code was incorrect.
Summary: I bought this laptop for one thing, to plug in my company provided USB and use the laptop for work. Since you cannot access the bios to install the USB, I spent $125 on a tech who spent hours on the phone with ASUS who also did not understand how to access the bios.
Summary: The laptop itself is great. Nice and thin, a little heavier than you would think for how thin it is. But lets be serious its not a Mac air. I still like it though. The resolution is nice, the keyboard are smooth. But the touch pad is not that firm.
Summary: I wanted to buy a Windows laptop just for simple things, like checking my e-mail, playing games, or transferring photos. I thought going with an inexpensive one would be fine, because I don't need anything too technical. Well, this laptop wasn't even good for that!
