but I wouldn't recommend anything other than using it for facebook occasionally

Summary: It's a little clunky and slow at times, though I put that down to Windows 8 rather than any particular fault with the computer. It's okay for light browsing, but I wouldn't recommend anything other than using it for facebook occasionally, and checking emails.
Summary: Good small portable laptop to use on the go. However some software issues related to screen and user settings. Battery life us really short so you will always need to have the power cord available. Touch screen pretty good. Keyboard average . Overall, good laptop designed for small tasks due to short battery life unless you are sure there is an outlet always available.
Horrible customer service. Pray you don't have problems.

Summary: ASUS has the single worst customer service and warranty program I have ever had to deal with. If you do buy their product, you'd better pray that you don't have any problems with it, because you won't get any help from ASUS. In the year that I had one of their laptops, mine broke down 5 times. Every time I sent it into their 'service' center, the part they replaced failed again within months, or even weeks.
Summary: Bought this a week ago to replace a tablet that didn't even approach the computing power of this Laptop. Here's the thing though - right out of the box, this laptop performed WORSE than the tablet. I thought "well.. maybe it's just because I'm used to SSD performance in machines. I was going to put an SSD in it anyway. I'll put that in and that should resolve it." So I ordered a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB SSD.
Summary: Got it as a laptop / tablet for my son to use for school use. He loves it!! There has been no issue relating to the machine itself. Trying to use the new version of windows that it comes with is not the easiest but the laptop has been nothing but perfect from ASUS. I would definitely recommend this as a very inexpensive laptop for anyone not needing a gaming machine.
Summary: Bought this to replace a dying 10.1" Acer used by a bedridden relative, because it has a bigger screen but supposedly weighs the same (2.6 pounds). Immediately felt heavier upon arrival. Put it on the scale and found it's actually 2 pounds 15 ounces (2.9375 pounds)! Weighed the Acer and found it's actually 2 pounds 3 ounces, 3 ounces less than advertised. The 12 ounce difference doesn't sound like much, but it makes a big difference to someone using it in bed. Bummer.
