Summary: I purchased this laptop for work as a diagnostic tool. Almost immediately after buying it I was able to upgrade to Windows 8.1 at no cost, which is a huge improvement over 8. 8.1 has taken some getting used to over XP, but the touchscreen functionality is superb and works well within 8.1.
Great laptop for teenager, college student, or simply someone who needs a small laptop!

Summary: Ever since I purchased my ASUS VivoBook I keep catching myself on touching screens of non-touchscreen computers haha. My family is a fan of ASUS laptops because they last long and don't have issues. Obviously I love the hot-pink color but besides that this laptop met my other expectations, too.
Summary: I upgraded to Win 8.1 and my headphone jack immediately stopped working. After lots of trials and tribulations, trips to the computer repair shop etc., I had to spend an hour on the phone with Asus customer service (who were great - thanks Wayne in Caribbean!
Summary: I really love this laptop. I fit my needs - the feel of a laptop with the ease of use of a tablet. The touch screen is very responsive and I haven't had any trouble at all. The design is sleek. It's slightly heavier than other laptops this size but it's quite sturdy which is better for me.
