Summary: I'm a computer technician at an elementary school in Maine. I bought this as a replacement for my ex's old clunky toshiba satellite (the first ones to ship with windows 8 on them, at $425 a pop) which I accidentally broke during the break up.
Pros: Brilliant gloss display, chiclet keyboard, instant boot, and cool, brushed aluminum looks. Smallest battery pack I've ever seen in my LIFE.
Cons: I don't get to keep it. I have an inkling that battery life will be pretty short if you do anything other than leave it in standby.
Summary: I am very happy with this laptop. The touchscreen is very smooth and responsive. While some say the glare is a problem, I don't find it to be bad at all. I just tip it back slightly and problem solved. The edge to edge glass makes it look very classy. I just wish it had a backlit keyboard.

Summary: So far so good. I love system 8- and the touch screen on this computer just makes it so easy. I use this for my online school work. It is light weight, the keyboard is really well set up-- keys have a good feel.
Summary: I was searching for a new laptop for a few weeks for school(home use too). I was a little weary of purchasing a computer online without actually seeing it in person yet, but after seeing the hardware(internal and external)I gave it a shot, could have returned it if something was wrong.
Summary: I've recommended this model for a couple of home/office users and have been impressed, esp for the price. The screen resolution wasn't a big deal for them, and some people like their shiny screens.
Pros: Fast, 'thinner', many ports, optical drive
Cons: Not what I would call an ultrabook, screen resolution, shiny screen
Summary: Really impressed with amazons service. Happy that they delivered it before the time. Its been just two day since ive used the laptop and im sold on it. Good boot-up speed and good build quality. lets see its performance over the next few months...
Summary: I will keep this short and sweet. I looked for over a month for a laptop with all the qualities I wanted and this one fits them all.I wanted a touch screen so I could learn and use all the windows 8 functions. I am not techy but am willing to learn.
Summary: it does everything a 1k dollar laptop does, it looks decent on the outside, the best looking feature for the outside is the really small height with exactly 2cm, wich is a BIG difference if you never owned an ultrabook before and you are used to a regular laptop, which looks extremely bulky after...
