Summary: This is a great entry level touch screen laptop/ big ultra book with a few exceptions. The screen has so much glare it become very distraction. The view angle on this display is pretty sad. I want to say less the 15 degree shift from dead center will see significant distortions. And my final poke is my units space bar is warped. This doesn't affect function, it just doesn't feel right.
Summary: I was so excited for my "new" laptop; however, when i used it for a few months.. it started shutting off by itself. It got really loud and annoying during class.. On top of that... it gets really glitchy and laggy when I want to click on stuff sometimes. It damn right looks beautiful though, kind of like an apply laptop per-say, but I still would not recommend it too much.
Summary: I really loved this little laptop, but after 360 days it simply died. No power lights, no bootup, nothing. I quickly purchased a new power adapter thinking that was the problem, but no luck, so I contacted ASUS tech support. After a lot of going back and forth (calling for specific departments at specific hours) I was finally issued an RMA and shipped the laptop back (I had to pay to ship the machine to them) for repairs. It's still in their service center now.

Summary: after long research, I was very exciting getting that new laptop and it looked so cool when I got it, but after few hours of work, the hard drive started making clicking noises. It can happen to any laptop, but it was my case. Very sad. I was able to return it with no hassle, but had to spend another few hours researching new laptop.
Summary: I really like it... but for some reason I have had a hard time keeping it connected to the internet.. when I try to reconnect it makes me set up a whole new connection all the time... it is very frustrating.... and I had help from my internet provider... not sure what is going on.. My daughter has an HP and I have a Dell work laptop and they have no problem... but the ASUS does.. not sure why??????
Summary: Pros: Touchscreen makes Windows 8 easier to navigate. Slim, good looking, and screen is very high resolution. Quiet and pretty power efficient (I get around 3-4 hours without a charger) Fast start up speed (Mine takes around 15 seconds to boot up) Cons: Not a very fast processing speed; I get a lot of frozen screens on light internet browsing (facebook, youtube, etc.).
Summary: So far I have had a few issues and I've only had it for a month. The speakers make a static noise, the usb plug in has already stopped working and the battery drains fairly quicker than my Dell. It's not a bad laptop but it is not a great one either.
Summary: Bought this for my husband 8 months ago. So far, there hasn't really been any Wifi connectivity issues, but there's a bit of a problem with the chiclet keyboard right from the start. It's sticky, especially where the right Enter and Shift keys are. He's sort of got used to navigating through Windows 8, but doesn't really care for the touchscreen, says he mainly uses it for quick zoom in and out, that's all. Graphics seem pretty good, even though it's integrated.
Summary: Let me keep it simple; Performance - I'm used to tablet speed, this laptop's performance is OK, sometimes it is slow. System boot speed - Awesome, thanks to solid state drive, this laptop is up and running in 30 seconds Display - OK. If you can afford it, I would recommend you to get one with higher resolution. Touch screen is good. Sound - Good Camera - Year 2003 like camera in 2013 laptop, bad. Keyboard - It is different.
