Good specs, good build quality. Short battery life, lackluster display.

Summary: Good specs, nice quality overall. Biggest problem I have with it is the battery life (About 3-5 hours depending on usage). Would be wise to have a charger and/or spare battery with it. Performance is good, although the hard drive does slow it down, I would reccomend buying a SSD or 7200 RPM HDD to replace the 5400 RPM HDD that is included.
Like the product and runs as expected for its price range

Summary: In general it is a very nice laptop. The touchpad is a bit annoying in the beginning since it is off center , but you get used to it after a while. The battery life is not that great, but I guess it is something normal for the i7 core and for the price range. As a replacement for a 6 year old laptop, can't complain. It is fast, smooth and decently quiet.
Summary: It is good, I think I am still not used to have the Windows 8, I can't install any antivirus, and I don't know why. I said that it comes with the Defender, but it does not work. The touch screen is so good, but I still need to custom some things, I don't need all the apps that comes with the pc, so I need to take them from my start option.
Summary: I read some poor responses about this computer and some great ones before I made my purchase. I wish people would not be so quick to write a crappy review and at least give the product some time and familiarize yourself with it. Like anything, once you open the thing up you want to just turn it on and go, well the battery does come with some juice but it does take some time to get use to Windows 8.
Summary: I've had this computer about 2 weeks now and it's great! I've previously owned only HP, but my last laptop was a dud so despite being nervous to switch I decided to try out ASUS. This is also one of the few 'Ultrabooks' that includes a disk drive--huge plus!! The computer is a nice size. Very sleek and thin. Windows 8 takes some getting used to, but you always have the option of going back to the typical desktop view.
Summary: This is one of my first experiences with a laptop, and I am finding that I have a lot of run on words, i.e., when I press the space bar, often it does not register, and I have to go back and separate words. It is sleek and good looking. I am really trying to get used to Windows 8. The sellers, Adorama, were very prompt, and I received it before I expected to.
Summary: I have had two Asus Android Tablets-the original Transformer TF101 and the nexus 7. I am still using my 2 year old transformer!! This laptop rocks .For the price ,the specs are awesome and it includes an optical drive all in a thin profile. I am still learning my way around Windows 8 -missing that Start button but 8.1 should correct that.
Summary: It was shipped yesterday, but I tried to use it as much as it was possible. Thus, subjectively: pros -almost sleek design, it's a pleasure to touch the it's metal lid and keyboard cover -specs which should satisfy any ordinary user's demands for the following decade -surprisingly good touchpad. works well even with the 3finger gestures. it's not perfect, but decent.
