Zenbook: decent system but the terrible keyboard ruins the experience

Summary: The ASUS "Ux31 Series Ultra Slim" laptop (netbook?) is a fast & compact computer which seems to be solid and so far (after a bit over half a year) dependable. It has not crashed once although there are the occasional hangs one tolerates with Windows.
Summary: This is a laptop that has a lot of great features, but ultimately I had to return it due to the subpar keyboard, hot pink color, and "sticky" pointer. I only need a computer for pretty basic functions (no major gaming or burning or anything), but it still fell short.
Summary: The spec of this notebook is great! Comparing with Sony notebook whose spec is similar but price is much expensive, we can know why this notebook is much cheaper than the Sony notebook. I think the keyboard is not sensitive.
Summary: I was very excited to take delivery of my shiny new Zenbook which I picked up on a trip to the US. Good job I was in the US as the amount of updates required (including drivers) was huge and I would not have the bandwidth or data allowance where I am based.
Summary: Spent a few days with it, got used to the keyboard, even was getting used to the twitchy touch-pad. the form factor, build, look, size are absolutely fantastic. I would have used this extensively for business. However, I began getting "Unknown USB device" errors randomly.
Summary: I ordered this laptop which I' typing on now (notice theletter "m" was missing when I typed I'm and notice the space between the words "the" and "leter" and again notice the letter "t" is missing in letter.
Summary: Keyboard lacks responsiveness and touchpad is so-so. I am disappointed with the keyboard. You really need to bang on the keys to make sure you don't skip a key while typing. Also, the touch pad gets stuck sometimes and the cursor wanders to another part of the screen sometimes.
Summary: First of all this Ultrabook is an amazing machine, lightweight, beautiful, and I loved it EXCEPT the following three things which lead me to return it. There are 3 issues you will read all over the internet about this laptop, I will attempt to explain them all.
A beautiful, powerful, well-priced laptop with too many flaws.

Summary: You can add my name to the list of people who was disappointed with this laptop that I ended up returning it. But before I get into what bothered me, I'll start off with what was great: 1) Design- it is beautiful laptop. Compare it the Macbook Air if you want, but I think it is nicer.
