Summary: I was very careful in my search for an ultra-portable and finally decided on this ASUS. The other candidate was the Toshiba T235-S1350 with the longer battery life of the UL30-A2 being the deal breaker.
Summary: I really can't think of anything negative to say about this wonderful laptop. - The battery life is phenomenal. I no longer have to get to class 20 minutes early to hunt down an outlet. The battery lasts me the entire day.
Summary: I was suggested this laptop by a friend saying it was a good machine, and sure enough, I love it! The battery so far has given me 9 hours of use after being fully charged, of course display settings had to be altered. The chick-let keys are a bonus to easy usage/typing.
Summary: I have owned this laptop for 5 months now and I love it. It is small and light enough to make it enjoyable to carry around and use wherever you want. The battery really does last 12 hours, more or less depending on what you are using it for, I don't time how long it lasts but I use it everyday and...
Summary: This is without a doubt the best little computer I have ever owned. I love it. It's small, powerful, and Windows 7 is great. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. Battery life is amazing, screen resolution is beautiful, there's an HDMI output and 3 USB ports.
Summary: Ive been a happy owner for the past couple of weeks and the pros outnumber the cons by a lot. to begin the first thing i noticed was the insanely thin posture of the laptop. without the battery (which i LOVE using it that way) this baby weights just about the same as a notebook and a lot less than a...
Summary: Aside from one minor problem, this really is a spectacular laptop. REASON FOR PURCHASE: My old laptop was an ASUS F3SE which unfortunately died and needed to be replaced. This was a heavy 15.6"/dedicated graphics, thick machine which ended up also being a pain to lug around.
Summary: I've owned several laptops in the past five years: two Dells, an HP, a Macbook Pro, a Samsung and a Lenovo Thinkpad. I've always been disappointed in some way or another with them. Recently i purchased the Asus Silver and have been thoroughly impressed. Very nicely built and feels solid.
Summary: Where can I start? I've a small 10" Asus 1005 and love the size and battery, but when I needed to work a few hours hated that the screen was TOO small. Everything change with this incredible, beautiful, light-weight, thin and smooth at thouch laptop.

Summary: I already own a Samsung NC10 and an Apple MacBook (the old black version) and was looking for something in between - faster than the NC10 and lighter than the MacBook, essentially a very portable (thin and light) 13" laptop that I could use to work on Ubuntu (dual boot) as well as Windows 7 for...
