Summary: Awesome ultrabook. Thin, powerful, quiet, great battery life, and great build quality. If it has a matte screen with at least 1600x900, then this would be the perfect work/play notebook. 520M is lowly, but should be sufficient for occasional gamer. Oh, to swap the slow hdd, one has to use some elbow (nail) grease to prey the whole top (keyboard side) off. Yes, on top of the screws, some glues were used to make the top and bottom half appear seemless.
Summary: Very good performance, but the USB 3.0 sometimes does not work properly, it disconnects automatically. Except for this, it has very good overall performance as I expected, and very fast working with graffics.
Summary: I normally do not write reviews, but I thought this experience was worth sharing. I had a check list of things I was looking for in a new laptop: - Lightweight - Portable size (with or without optical drive) - Decently fast (Intel Core i5 and up) - Decent video card (At least nvidia/ati low end mobile chipset) - Battery life (With the new Sandy Bridge Intel chips plus switchable graphic cards, this is now possible) I basically found this machine. Asus u36sd-a1.
