Summary: The good: Laptop is very light and small. I would really like to keep it. It comes with wayyy to much bloatware. First thing I would do is wipe the hard drive clean remove their partitions and reinstall windows, but it is still relatively fast with the crap they have on there. It looks and feels awesome. Bad: The sd card slot doesn't work right. I called asus tech support guy and what a nightmare.
Summary: I read the other reviews, and felt the good ones already make all the points I would wish to. Overall, it's a good little machine in a lot of ways. But criminy! The touchpad is *terrible*. I read that it was "sensitive," but had no idea this would mean that the faintest brush from the ball of my palm while typing would instantly click wherever the cursor happened to be. So far, several times, that has been on 'Send'--for half-finished work emails. Huge hassle.
Summary: This laptop had all of the features I wanted for a CAD laptop. Dedicated graphics, light-weight, decent battery. It delivers on all of these. It falls short, however, in the quality department. The keyboard is mushy; when you press the keys, the entire keyboard platform deforms downward. The screen has a "screen-door" look to it in that you can see between the pixels and see the grid between them.
