Summary: I bought this laptop around Thanksgiving, 2012. The laptop works fine. However, the plastic strip that goes around the screen has started to come off from the right side. Summary: Works very well (once you have worked out windows 8). sadly it stopped booting up in August and then seemed to expire completely. I have asked Asus to repair it and I will see what happens.
