Summary: I really love this ultrabook/laptop. It has a great processor (Intel core i5) and it is very fast/speedy with all applications/web browsing and watching videos ect... The memory is 4GB and has around 1.2GB available i have noticed, while having several apps, browser tabs and other(s) opened, which is decent but I am going to buy another 4GB memory card and upgrade to 8GB.
Pros: Bought this for my wife a few weeks back. Does everything that is expected of it. Not running anything to really weigh down the cpu though so can't truly say what it can handle. She uses it for MS Office13 and work through websites mostly.
Summary: Just got it today. I have been using it for a few hours now and am quite pleased! It seems to perform like a champ. Im still getting used to Windows 8 but I think I like it! I find myself switching back and forth between desktop and the start screen for different tasks. I find that some for somethings I prefer the start screen. Some reviews have said they had issues with the mouse pad. Not quite sure what the issue was. It appears to work just fine!
Summary: It's like a macbook but for half the price! I was a bit hesitant at first (since it's Windows 8) ... but I figured that I would 'catch up' with technology and plus I figured it would be great for school so I purchased it. It's definitely a steal for what you're getting (i5 processor, super lightweight, etc. I don't really know much about computers except for the basics).
Summary: It has a perfect balance for watching video (online or local), managing a lots of documents, editing texts or some light image edition. Onboard sound speakers are fair enough. Keyboard is nice and smooth (but I miss backlight and dedicated buttons). Touchscreen, one of the best things to have. Save you a lot of time and makes the experience more friendly. Battery last 3 to 5 hs without a problem, even after a full day on standby.
Summary: Given the competitors, this is a great product. A little bit heavier than expected given that there is no DVD, the extra weight comes from the display. But it is touch screen and it is worth it. Windows 8 is the real problem, but with 8.1 the Start button is back so it is really a deal. With the 24GB cache SSD, it is a perfect solution to have a fast PC withouh going expensive ultrabook.
