Summary: So far I've been very happy with this computer. I upgraded the RAM to 8GB, which was very easy to do after watching video on Youtube. Also downloaded and installed Windows 8.1 which is a slight improvement over Windos 8.I use this computer to stream Netflix via the HDMI port to a big screen TV and the picture looks great with no buffering.
Summary: This is an excellent notebook for the specs in this price. Personally, I just removed the HDD and replaced it with an SSD. After installing a fresh windows 8.1, this seems like a super fast computer. I am very happy with this purchase and my customization. Great buy!
Summary: My son specifically asked for this laptop as he loves to play minecraft. He says it is quick and not laggy. He loves it and has not had any issues with it all. Seemed like a good quality product at a reasonable price.
Summary: I am a little surprised and the negative comments I am reading about ASUS computers. So far I have purchased 2 VivoBooks over the past year. One for my son heading out to college and one for my wife. Both have been great with no complaints. I will be buying a 3rd in the next month for my second son heading off to college.
Summary: I got this before Black Friday and it was even cheaper than BF sales. Can't beat that. It needed more RAM and I bought new one to upgrade it to 12GB. Would be nice if I had a flash drive but the cost is too much for now. Cons: I don't like the keyboard at all. The touch pad is at a location that I always mistakenly erasing or typing on the wrong place..
Summary: I searched way too long for a laptop for my home use. I have a nice Samsung laptop for work with an i7. I didn't want to come home to a dog laptop. I did a few upgrades in the first evening of owning this laptop and now it is crazy fast. After spending three hours updating stuff and upgrading to Windows 8.1, I did the following upgrades. * Kingston Now V330 120 SSD drive kit.
