Summary: I'm a lecturer at the university, so I needed a Labtop that is light in weight, durable, stylish, and easy to carry. This small Labtop from Asus got me exactly what I was seeking for. With Windows 8 x64 and MS office 2013 I'm just fine. It saved my time and effort during my work. For home using, I can still play movies and HD movies with no problem at all. Here is what I don't like. 1.
Summary: This computer is nice and light, and very small. The only problem is that you can be working on your greatest masterpiece, and the computer will decide it doesn't like what you're doing, and shut down for now apparent reason, and with no warning. It happens both when plugged in and on battery power. Happens about once per week or so. Make sure you save your work regularly! Otherwise, it has treated me OK for the past year that I've owned it.
Summary: Ok so far, but slower than I expected. Internet searches are strained and slow. It appears the background processes are leaving limited room for anything else. The issue is probably more Windows 8, than the hardware. Unfortunately Windows 7 was not a choice. The unit size and weight are very nice. Boot up time is also decent. Hopefully Window 8.1 will help when its released.
Summary: I purchased this as a backup for my Asus X202E and like the title says, when my laptop is plugged into this adapter I essentially can't use the trackpad because it makes the cursor jump all over the place. For $15 though, I'm not complaining because I can still use the touchscreen perfectly fine and if I ever really need to use the trackpad I can just unplug the laptop for that length of time.
Hard drive packed up after 8 months, Asus said ...

Summary: Hard drive packed up after 8 months, Asus said they would repair it if I sent it to them and it would take 10 days from receipt of computer. Unfortunately I needed it repaired quicker than that so I had it repaired locally for 140 euros.
You can impress the girls - but it's not an Armani....

Summary: Ask yourself this question. Am I looking to buy a computer or looking to make a fashion statement? If the answer is the latter - then buy this PC, you won't be disappointed. When my ASUS arrived, all the girls cooed over it, admired it and wanted to touch it. Oh! - to be suddenly noticed... But here's the rub - it's a computer! If you really want to impress the girls - by an Armani suit. Whereas, if you want a machine that will earn its keep, buy something else.
Summary: I really like this laptop, it all works great. One big drawback... the battery. I couldn't get it charged to 100%, even after a full night on the charger! Then working with, internet/LAN work, using touch screen, the battery is empty in no time (2hrs??). Initially I thought it was an issue with this particular battery, so I exchanged the laptop for another one (absolute great support by Amazon here!) but unfortunately it had the same issue, so I had to return it.
Keyboard problems and cursor jumping all over screen
6 April 2013
Summary: The two main reasons for purchasing this product were the good reviews and the fact everyone told me Windows 8 is rubbish unless you have a touchscreen. It took me about a week to realized I had made the wrong decision in purchasing this laptop as once you get use to Windows 8 (took me 3 days I am not clever) you hardly use the touchscreen. I have since read PC Advisers comments about this laptop and they make the same comment.
Summary: Great laptop except for the built in wifi adaptor. It is terrible. Sometimes you can even be next to router and the connection drops. Been in twice for repair but still bad. Asus wont accept the design uses a poor adaptor even though a quick google search shows many people complining about the issue. Asus dropped the ball on this one!
