Asus VivoBook S200E Review

reviewguidelines.com
7 August 2013
  • Summary: The ASUS VivoBook S200E is clearly born with the intent to combine economy and quality, and for users not especially demanding, it can be regarded as a discrete device, which, however, does not stand out in any sector. The touch screen display is the main strength of this laptop and lets you take advantage of the new Windows operating system, but also the use by the smart gesture is quite intuitive. Overall, a good device if you do not require high graphics capabilities.
  • Pros: Memory card reader, HDMI port, Design, Windows 8, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, HD Webcam.
  • Cons: Processor is not powerful; Graphics quality, No optical drive.

Review Asus VivoBook S200E Subnotebook

Notebookcheck
17 December 2012
  • Summary: No fear of contact. There is a plethora of inexpensive subnotebooks on the market - but the new Asus VivoBook S200E is different: high build quality and a multi-touch-enabled display set it apart and are supposed to appeal to potential buyers. Are those attributes alone enough for us to recommend the system?
  • Pros: High quality chassis, Very decent input devices, Touchscreen, Low noise, Compact power adapter, The extremely rigid aluminum chassis features very high build quality and surpasses some Ultrabooks. The quality of the input devices is also higher then average for this segment of the market.
  • Cons: Throttling when running games and apps, Dark display, Limited expandability, No Bluetooth, Aside from some minor flaws like the fairly dark display and the pretty moderate viewing angle stability, our main issue is throttling: when CPU and GPU are heavily utilized, the user has to accept a huge performance loss.

Asus VivoBook S200E im Test: preiswertes Windows-8-Notebook mit Touch-Display und Intel-Core-i3-CPU

CNET
29 January 2013

Análise do Sub-portátil Asus VivoBook S200E

Notebookcheck
8 January 2013

  • Cons: Processore non potentissimo; Qualità grafica; No unità ottica
