Summary: LOVVVIING IT!!!! The GPU tweek for overclocking works like a charm and I haven't seen the temps go higher than 50 C (The fans just go like a JET engine going up, but if you wear descent headphones, you won't ear a thing). The 17.3" screan is a joy to play at. Few CON THOUGH: The power adapter is on the right hand side of the laptop. So might get a bit crowded if you use too many plugins peripherals.

Summary: This was my first dip into the world of laptop gameing. Asus is a top notch company that sells high quality stuff so there wasent much worry if I was buying something that just looks cool. So far it has performed above and beyond what I hoped it could do. It's been able to handle everything i have thrown at it on max settings. The case is very well designed, the keyboard base has a nice brushed aluminum and feels solid.
Summary: I bought this laptop because of all the good reviews I read about it. My biggest concern was the 5400 RPM HDD. I read that buying a Samsung 840 EVO would be the best upgrade to this already amazing product. So I bought the SDD and the laptop at once and waited until I received them. Two days later they both arrived so the first thing I did was open up the laptop to install the SDD.
Summary: Item arrived as promised & described. Excellent laptop! I'm not a "gamer", but I wanted a laptop with excellent speed & capacity. The dual cooling capability was big selling point because many laptop hard drives overheat & fail.
Summary: I'm a Mac user normally and I bought this computer to use as my gaming machine. Having not used Windows since XP, I had a little trouble removing all the bloatware put on this computer by Asus. It was an extremely frustrating task with frequent "Program Not Responding" moments. Maybe I'm just dumb but I was expecting a product that worked straight out of the box (like all my of Mac purchases). However, once I spent a few hours removing programs, I ran like a dream.
Summary: This machine is a true companion to my desktop when I'm on the go. It's very fast and more than capable of running the Adobe Suite with enough screen real estate to work with multiple windows comfortable. Plus as a gaming laptop it's quite powerful averaging 60+ fps on War Thunders Movie settings. It runs cool and isn't very loud under normal or even heavy operation. Also the back lit keyboard is large enough for extended use and have a good sized numeric keypad.
Summary: had this computer(which im writing this review on right now) for about three months. this thing can take anything i throw at it. It plays skyrim at best settings(which looks AMAZING) with absolutely no slow down. games like GTA IV and Fallout New Vegas are nothing for this computer. League of Legends looks great and never drops below 60 FPS.(most of this is based off of playing while the power is plugged in.
Summary: This is a first impression review because I've only lived with ASUS ROG G750JM for a week. So far, I'm very pleased. My primary need for a laptop is for photography, shooting tethered via USB. The Asus replaces a two year old HP Pavillion dv7 that is literally just falling apart, so I was looking for something more robust. Even though the JM is the entry level 17" ROG notebook, the specs are quite good.
Summary: I purchased this laptop as a replacement for my Toshiba. It has EVERYTHING I needed, wanted, and more. The sound is amazing and the graphics just cannot be beat. I use it quite a bit for both general everyday email and web surfing, but also my games that I like to play. It has a quick start up and is so quite that I am able to hear what I am trying to listen to unlike my old Toshiba whose fan was so loud. All-in-all, I have been quite pleased with this laptop.
Summary: For over a year I used an old VISTA laptop for editing and posting videos on YT. Those who know - are aware how agonizingly slow that was. I researched for several months before deciding to buy ASUS. One of the main features of the ASUS that made up my mind was that the ASUS had reviews saying it ran cooler than some of the other choices. I had no doubt that the ASUS would be faster than the old clunker, but speed was not all I thought I wanted to improve.
