Summary: I love this laptop. It boots up quickly, keeps cool no matter what programs I run on it, and has fantastic graphics. I have had no lagging at all on this computer, which was an issue on my desktop. The only issue that I have is with the battery life, which seems short to me, but this is my first laptop. Other than that, it is fantastic.
Summary: Bought this laptop several years ago and I'm typing this review on it right now. I am very, very happy with my ASUS G73JH-A1 laptop and I can safely say it is the best laptop I have ever owned. It has only recently started to show signs of having issues with newer games. I have had to send it to Asus for an issue with the original video card and the second time for a failed hard drive. Asus was prompt and very customer oriented during the entire process.
Summary: first of all, i love this thing. i run any game i want with graphics cranked and also the hdmi hooked to my tv with a movie or something going at the same time. :i play alot of borderlands 2 and gta4: i have upgraded the ram to 8gigs and upgraded the hdd's as well to 2 wd 7200 rpm 500gigs but it could do this before hand. i've yet to really encounter a con and ive had it a while now. and its just simply amazing. well scratch that. my battery died.

Summary: This product looks great, and it can handle any modern game currently out. There are no dislikes about this product. The robust graphics card, and 17 inch screen have the characters and objects literally flying off of the screen. I recommend this laptop to any serious gamer.
Summary: I bought this laptop refurbished, but it has been excellent. No major issues so far (bought in Jan 2011). Pros: i7 processor and radeon 5870 = plays most games on high graphics big screen backlit keyboard fans on back of the computer make it so the bottom of the computer doesn't get hot Cons: Big laptop, not super portable kinda loud battery doesn't last long (I don't really use it without plugging it in though) I installed windows 8 on it and it works well too.
Summary: As my first computer I've had in about 5 years, I was pretty worried that I would buy a bad laptop, and I wanted a gaming laptop too, so the selection for something under $900 that could play newer games on Medium-High settings were slim. Luckily I ran across this laptop, and for about $800 with a free upgrade to 8gb of RAM, I bought it, and I'm not regretting it at all.
Summary: I got this notebook 15 months ago from worst buy and knock on wood its still going strong. The only issues I've had with it were the keyboard missing keystrokes and the GSOD issue which has been fixed. For those of you that have had bad luck with this notebook, rule of thumb is, Notebooks run hotter than desktops because of air flow restrictions.
Summary: I love this laptop. It is very fast and can do some heavy lifting for a tenth of the price. Unfortunately, I might have to sell mine because I need the cash and havent had time to use my laptop to its fullest potential lately. I actually use this computer for using adobe products because it will run the programs smoothly and won't bog down your computer. It is a little heavy though.
Summary: This is the first Asus product I've ever bought and I was so impressed I went on to purchase a router and a blu-ray burner from this awesome brand. The G73 is definitly a gaming laptop; large, heavy, ugly and prone to overheating. It is also one of the best gaming laptops out there and definitly the best money-for-value.
