Summary: VivoBook V400CA 14" (500 GB + 24 TB, Intel Core i3 2nd Gen., 1.4 GHz, 4 GB) Ultrabook - Black - V400CA-DB31T is good for asus lover. not that heavy and a good design for the keyboard and the monitor.
Summary: I was so excited about this laptop! I love how it looks, the size, the weight, and the touch screen! However, it is incredibly slow. I read something about installing Windows 8 updates, but every time I try, it gets stuck during the update. I've waited literally HOURS for the updates to complete, and it usually stops at around 53 of 101 updates and stays there for hours. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm very disappointed.
Summary: I should change my review because I realize that its screen has a problem. One week after I started to use, a bubble appears at the middle of the touch screen. The screen still functions very well, but this is very annoying. I should return this and get another one or buy something else.
Summary: I'm giving this laptop 3 stars just because it's gorgeous in its design, it was well packaged, and very sleek and light. I really wished this could have worked out for me. But at 14" its too small, and what's worse, it was very, very slow, both offline and online, far too slow for a brand new machine with only a browser loaded on it. I updated everything it asked me to, but was still very slow.
Summary: For those of you who are already using a tablet of some sort, you'll be right at home with this machine. I'm running Win8.1 Enterprise on it and couldn't be happier with its performance and overall enhancement to my workday. I LOVE being able to use the on-screen touch keyboard for quick purposes, and using this machine is breaking my dependence on the mouse. This machine comes pre-loaded with Win8 Home, which meant I had to blow it away in order to use it for work.
Summary: I received my machine timely as advertised, a week ago. I quickly set it up and loved how sleek it is. The touch is smooth, just like my Lumia phone. It runs smoothly. Though I initially had issues with the absence of the DVD drive advertised by amazon, it was swiftly explained and resolved by the supplier. So far all is well. I love this machine.

Summary: So far so good. I ordered this laptop after seeing a similar model in a local electronics store. It came very quickly to me and so far it has been great. The only downside is that it gets pretty warm when sitting on my lap. Most of the time it is used by other members of the family, but this was their only complaint so far. The touchscreen is working well and the speed/performance is great for simple needs.
Summary: As with any other laptop there are both good and bad things with the ASUS VivoBook. I love the touchscreen functionality and the keyboard. I think the mouse pad is a little bit oversized, but some people might like it that way. It was quite a bit heavier than I was expecting, but it won't be too hard to get used to. I was also expecting it to feel a little more metalic, but it feels like a heavy plastic. Overall, it is a good laptop and I would recommend it to friends.
Summary: I've had a lot of experience with computers & tablets for school and work usage. After having minimal success with the HP Envy x2 Convertible Tablet/Laptop, I've found my favorite touch & Windows 8 compatible computer. The ASUS definitely prides itself on fast functionality coupled with great compatibility for Windows 8 and all of its features. Also, having touch screen makes it very easy to navigate the Start Screen and access all the computer can provide.
Very nice product for super price. Jus ASUS logo is awkward

Summary: totally recommend this to anyone!! I now understand why win 8 is so good with new interface. it`s just u cannot see the advantage when no touch experience. besides win8 now i can appreciate tablet as formfactor cuz all other pad-droid ones are just overpriced toys while this thingie is so very powerful tool. just one thing - remove HDD and upgrade to SSD. this will completely blow u away.
