Summary: When I first got this computer back in '10, it was awesome. It didn't last very long on battery power, but hey, that's what you get with a dedicated graphics card and a i7 processor. It did everything flawlessly, it was fast, and it played my games like a champ. Street Fighter IV and StarCraft II ran perfectly on the machine. After about a year, after the warranty was up, the problems started happening. It would overheat like crazy.
Summary: I bought this laptop on May 5th, 2010. After 1 month, the hard drive crash, brought it the Best Buy's Geek Squad and because it was still under warranty they changed my hard drive for free. After about a year, May 11th, 2011 the computer started acting up again, I will be using the laptop and all of a sudden a blue screen comes up "begin dumping physical memory...." so I called ASUS, they told me it is not longer under warranty and I have to pay for it.
Summary: First of all, I have to say that the product itself has good specs for a good price. This is what drew me to this particular product. When I received it, I immdediately removed all the bloatware and it was a very fast and responsive machine. However, 2 things stand out when you receive the machine: -the machine feels constructed of flimsy, cheap plastic -the screen is garbage.
