Excerpt: Really like the display and performance of this laptop. Probably my biggest issue with it is the keyboard. The keyboard sometimes doesn't register what I'm typing, causing it to miss letters. this could just be user error, but I don't think it is because it only happens on this device. Otherwise, really enjoying this laptop.
Excerpt: The laptop itself is wonderful. It runs fast, looks great, and handles games that used to bring my old laptop to a standstill. The wifi card isn't great, but that's about my only concern. The one issue is that the software bundled with it is terrible. There's a program that keeps invisibly color-correcting my screen to be incredibly orange, and I can't rid myself of it. A similar thing goes for audio. Still, once that's all cleared out it'll be great.
Excerpt: I think this sober and well to my style model. The matte screen is ideal for very bright and serves me well to work in CAD environments, the colors reproduced are sharp and excellent contrast. The graphics card responds well to my work in 3D (mechanical parts). The battery has been good durability despite all daily time I have used. Regarding the write speed 5400 rpm, I think deserved to be 7200 rpm.
Pros: Durable Battery, Fast, Great Image Reproduction, Great sound, Powerful, Robust
Excerpt: The screen is crisp with a great viewing angle. It has an excellent chiclet keyboard. The dedicated graphics are comparable to a desktop (3d graphics are great, but may not be equivalent to it's high end desktop counterparts). Battery life is wonderful; unplugged it underclocks itself to last longer (a pretty standard feature).
Excerpt: So far I have been really impressed with the laptop, from the beautiful casing on the laptop to the inside hardware of the laptop that runs incredibly fast and makes switching between applications a breeze! I use it primarily for graphic design and light gaming on the side. For graphic design it has amazing colours but you have to find the right angle to see the screen properly which can be tricky if you don't know what to look for.
Pros: Beautiful, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast, Powerful
Excerpt: I Upgraded my system to 16 gbram from day one! Access to the RAM and HD are simple and explained well in the tutorial on the computer, the paper manual is lackluster. I am not a gamer. I use the Asus N56JN EB71 for Work (Landscape design AutoCADD/ Land CADD), personal connection ie Skype, video streaming ie Amazon Prime/NHL Vault/Instructional Tutorials etc.,Thus far (two weeks of use). with DSL connection.
Pros: Anti Glare Screen, Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast, Good sound, Hd Web Cam
Summary: I spent a while looking around to find a laptop I liked for the budget I had, I am entirely pleased with my choice. The build quality feels great and the performance level was exactly what I had wanted for the price. Pros: - Beautiful screen - Well designed and responsive keyboard - Great battery life - The whole laptop feels very high end and even comes with an external sub-woofer!
Summary: I bought this laptop around 6 months for many of the reasons cited by the 5* review and whilst it is an impressive machine I'd find it hard to recommend due to the fact that the speakers are terrible to the point of being un-listenable. Shorty after I took delivery of the laptop the speakers developed a tendency to crackle and break up which is particularly annoying when playing music (which I use the laptop to do a lot).
