Good ASUS product with better than usual graphics card.

kotmordan, Ebay
2 December 2012
  • Summary: This is the second ASUS Notebook I have purchased because it is so comfortable and light but still powerful enough to play some of my video games as it has a better than usual graphics card. My other Notebook had a problem with the power cord port which began to smoke -- Although I can still use it with a battery -- apparently the motherboard was affected - so cannot use the charger. This occurred after 3 years and hope the new one lasts.

Best product for a reasonable price

16 July 2009
  • Summary: Comments about Asus N10J-A2 Notebook: It's a great product. It has great features, all the software you'll need to get started and a compact, light weight, size. Perfect for people on the go, such as business or students. The only down side I could find is that it doesn't have an optical drive, but with all flash drives available today, it's not a problem. You won't regret it!!!
  • Pros: Adequate Storage, Comfortable Keyboard, Compact, Fast, Good Battery Life, Lightweight

Perfect for gamers on the go

5 June 2009
  • Summary: I've owned my N10 for a while now and I'm loving it.The advent of netbooks always intrigued me. I understand that you can't expect super notebook performance out of one, but I should at least expect a little bit of versatility, right? Enter the N10. This baby CAN do it all. It may not be the top dog, but it has an impressive show for how small it is.I've used it for programming (C#), light photo editing, casual gaming, word processing and plenty of web surfing.
  • Pros: Adequate Storage, Comfortable Keyboard, Compact, Easily Overclockable, Fast, Good Battery Life, Hybrid Graphics, Lightweight, Smooth Good Trackpad
  • Cons: CPU could be better, Small screen

Revising previous review

rolman, J&R
29 April 2009
  • Summary: After owning this device for the past few months, I felt compelled to revise my previous review that I had written soon after receiving the item. I am VERY unhappy with the computer. It freezes constantly, can take 10 minutes to boot, and is generally a weak machine. I wasn't expecting to do much with it, though I have trouble with everything from Outlook to iTunes, two relatively gentle programs.
  • Pros: Compact, Good Battery Life, Lightweight
  • Cons: Freezes Up, Poor Display Screen, Slow

Netbook Xtreme

SpareiChan, J&R
20 March 2009
  • Summary: This netbook is the closest to a notebook as it gets, if it had a different cpu it probably would be a notebook. Very customizable software-wise, You can run Vista/XP/Linux/Windows 7 and basicly all the drivers(while not always easy to find) are there. The Intel Atom is VERY OCable with most people reaching 2.0-2.1GHz(though not all). It runs very warm but never so hot i cant lay back on couch and keep it on my stomach to watch movies.
  • Pros: Adequate Storage, Compact, Good Battery Life, Lightweight
  • Cons: 1024x600 Screen, Underpowered CPU

Great little notebook

Stan, J&R
25 February 2009
  • Summary: Have used for a couple of weeks and really like it. Pros definitely outweigh cons. Very versatile little system. Figure out the power management and speed is much less of an issue. Optimize for power management and the battery lasts forever. Key board is pretty good, biometrics work great, the express gate lets me check email in seconds. For word processing, web browsing, email, and movies this system works great for me. I am very happily impressed with this system.
  • Pros: Comfortable Keyboard, Compact, Good Battery Life, Lightweight
