Summary: Just an illusion. Asus has a strong gaming notebook available in its array called VX7, Its looks have been inspired by the Italian noble car manufacturer Lamborghini. Find out in this review why the sprout from its own G53 couldn't really convince us despite strong components.
Pros: Moderate temperature and noise emissions, Excellent performance, BluRay drive, Big hard disks, The very good performance and the generous hard disk capacity.
Cons: Reflective display with average rates, CPU throttling (partly even in games), Sensitive high-gloss surfaces, Unfavorable interface positioning, Minor workmanship flaws, Lack of graphics switching, Somewhat spongy keyboard, Sticky touchpad, High weight, A better display, a more intelligent port distribution and a smooth touchpad surface.
Summary: The ASUS Automobili Lamborghini VX7 has looks that kill, but even when you factor in the premium for the design, the performance doesn't quite match the $2,269 price. We were a bit disappointed with the lack of bass when playing music and games, and the VX7's keyboard flex gives us some pause. For about $700 less, you can get an ASUS G53SW with the same gaming prowess--but with less storage and no Blu-ray.
Summary: Would you drive a car because it had an Apple logo on it? Then perhaps you’re the kind of person who’d be interested in a laptop with with the famous fighting bull of Automobili Lamborghini on the lid. In which case, ASUS has just the notebook for you. The rest of us will be a little more careful with our purchase, thanks, and look at what makes it stand out (or not) as a PC rather than a brand.
ASUS Lamborghini VX7: A laptop with sports car-like performance, looks and reliability
Good Gear Guide.au
2 July 2011
Summary: The Lamborghini VX7 takes ASUS' gaming platform and adds prestigious sports car branding and bodywork to the package. It's a desktop replacement notebook that has powerful specs and great user comfort. But we think it's a little underdone and it was also a little temperamental during our tests, just like a real sports car we're guessing.
Pros: Good specs and speed, Comfortable to use, Unconventional design
Cons: Wi-Fi not dual-band, No RAID, Unconventional design
Conclusion: to średniej wielkości laptop wyposażony w ekran o przekątnej 15,6 cali.
Pros: Jakość wykonania i wygląd, USB 3.0, Szybki procesor
Cons: Wysoka cena, Za słaba wydajność w rozdzielczości Full HD
