Summary: I have had this laptop for about a year now. I got it form a rewards points program for free. I think the laptop look ok but i like hoe the board feels. Some things i don't like is that the keyboard isn't backlight and the mouse pad gets in the way all the time when your typing. I also don't like that there just a integrated graphics card so most hardcore games cant be played which makes me mad (im a gamer). I like that wrist rest is always cold never warm.
Summary: Pros: 8 gigs of ram is plenty to handle most things. Decent amount of Storage space. (it is actually two HDD's: one with 278 GB as C drive and one 397 GB as general storage) i7 @ 2.40 GHz is very solid for the price. Satisfactory build quality. (no particularly flimsy parts, but not impressively sturdy) Number pad! Runs cool and quiet. Okay I guess: After about 7 months of ownership battery lasts roughly 2 hours on "balanced".
Summary: Aside from Windows 8, which I cannot locate anything within, the touchpad is pretty terrible. I like to hold a finger on the buttons to hit the scroll down arrow as I read things online, but because the buttons are not separated from the mouse section, I keep accidentally moving the mouse without noticing. The color is pretty okay, and it's a nice, fast, lightweight, cool laptop.
Summary: The ad says, 8 GB of RAM the laptop says 6MB. The ad also says Windows 7 but the laptop has Windows 8 which is a crappy operating system. Windows 7 is much better and less complicated. The ad says 750GB HDD, but the laptop says 700 GB HDD. The seller agreed to exchange for another laptop with the right specifications, but that would leave my kid with no Christmas gift for the 25th.
Summary: Annoying Windows 8 pops up a lot because your wrist must activate over the curser pad. nice keys. fast operation. battery screwed up and made the incessant beeping noise and curser acting weird. Had to unplug from wall, take out battery and wait 30 seconds, then reinstall battery. took care of the issue.
Summary: I love the laptop... but I HATE WINDOWS 8. If I could, I would take it out. The laptop is fast.. works great.. lightweight.. perfect all but that stupid windows 8, I can't figure out how to do anything.
Summary: ok let me start of by saying this is a beautiful machine i bought it because of that and it was very cheap i love all the ports especially the HDMI port which you can hook up to your TV and watch movies BUT my greatest source of regret is the fact that the designers placed the speakers underneath the laptop so if are like me and you enjoy listening to music with you laptop sitting on your LAP then be prepared to hear a lot of what i can only describe as listening to your...
