Summary: Pricing was great. Nothing on it has broken in the 9 months I've had it. It can run Skyrim, Just Cause 2, and Borderlands 2 no problem at medium-to-high graphics. I just put added another 4 GB of memory to it, bringing my total up to 8 GB, and now this baby is screaming fast. No complaints here, I would suggest this laptop to anyone that was looking for a laptop. For anything more, you would have to buy a PC.
Summary: This was a killer deal on an AMD A6 laptop, Bought it for my daughter for gaming and school and if works great. Hardcore gamers might want the A8 but this works fine for most games. It handles all the other things without any problems.
Awesome laptop, Windows 8 does take a bit to get use to... my 6 year old can is pretty good at it without the touchscreen

Summary: Asus builds awesome laptops, they've been building great motherboards for a long time, i own more than several Asus N-12 wireless routers Windows 8 is really built for tablets, don't upgrade to Windows 8.1, now you gotta login with password everytime which is annoying as heck :-( I am a Microsoft Hater
Summary: This is a very good computer for the price. There have been several negative reviews from people who were unhappy with Windows 8, but it is worth noting that this includes the free upgrade to Windows 8.1 which restores some of the functionality of Win7 including the return of the start button and the ability to boot straight to desktop (allowing the user to pretty much ignore the "tiles" completely if they wish). Personally, I like Win 8.
Summary: I use this Laptop for hobby microcontroller programming. The unit arrived quickly with WIn8 preinstalled. Removed Win8 and installed Win7 within 2 hours of receiving this unit. The Win7 install went smoothly and I have had no more external hardware compatibility issues. My only complaint is the mouse. You have to press extremely hard on the corners to activate the left and right buttons. Problem solved with wireless USB mouse.
