Summary: After holding on to this for a full year, I'm still satisfied with this laptop. It doesn't overheat excessively unless playing a higherend game on higher graphics settings. However it is a laptop. That's bound to happen.
Summary: This is the second time I have purchased this laptop. I had an older version of it a few years ago. I ruinied it working in Saudi Arabia from the dust that gets into everything but I really liked it. It is really big and heavy but since I use it as a desktop replacement it isn't an issue.
Summary: I use this amazing laptop for software development and to play games. Regarding the development, it is powerful enough to run multiple application and perform high intensity tests and so on. Best device ever!
Summary: These are getting harder to find. These are great notebook computers. They are a little pricey but still worth the price. The only downside to these laptops is they come with Windows 8 preinstalled. I installed Windows 7 and it works great.
Summary: I have built towers, nothing special, in the past and I have had multiple decent laptops; I am in love with this laptop. My concerns were/are: - Windows 8 related. There was not a manual/quick guide/Helpful hints/Warning dealing with the new operating system.
Summary: For what I paid for this laptop I would have to pay at least $500-800 more for a Dell. I have had it for almost a year with not a single issue. I love ASUS because of their commitment to quality. I would highly recommend any ASUS product.
