Summary: I love this laptop. I've had it for almost a year. The performance is great, and it runs cool and quietly. It reboots very quickly. The keyboard has a nice tactile feel, and the screen is nice enough that I don't use an external monitor (although I should to improve my posture!). I'm using it with a 256GB SSD with an OEM version of Windows 8.1, and that was pretty easy to do.
750 is more like it. The hard drives are also quite slow

Summary: When I received the laptop at first, the mousepad did not work. This means that they did not actually made sure everything worked, as the purchase receipt said. I managed to get it working through asus. There is not 1tb of hard drive, 750 is more like it. The hard drives are also quite slow. The charger cable is about to detach from the brick (the cable that shouldn't detach) altough it has mostly been in the same place for long periods of time.
Horrible customer service. Pray you don't have problems.

Summary: ASUS has the single worst customer service and warranty program I have ever had to deal with. If you do buy their product, you'd better pray that you don't have any problems with it, because you won't get any help from ASUS. In the year that I had one of their laptops, mine broke down 5 times. Every time I sent it into their 'service' center, the part they replaced failed again within months, or even weeks.
Summary: This laptop is VERY powerful. I have had it for 6 months now, with no problems and no issues. The ONLY thing that I care to upgrade on this machine is the HDD..... SSD is in the budget for a future upgrade. Other than that, it runs AutoCad very well and very fast. Skyrim runs at native resolutions, NO slowing WHATSOEVER. Lord of Shadows 2 (Castlevania) is crisp, detailed and smooth, by far better than other laptops I have used.
