Summary: I needed mid level laptop that could not only keep up with documents and spreadsheets but could handle programs like Cinema4D, After Effects, Photoshop, etc, video rendering and 3D creation. Unfortunately, that doesn't leave much time for gaming - but I'm working with the programs that create video games so I looked at gaming laptops. As a birthday present, I ordered an MSI computer through Amazon.
Summary: I buy it for two things media production like photoshop and corel draw it works amazing super fast smoth, and gaming but only played few games bf4 and skyrym work perfectly graphics looks amazing the downside is that come with windows 8 that sucks completely but you can change it thats not an issue screen is great mvies look great fans i dont even hear it not even gaming and the heat never have beeen a problem even after long time playing skyrim is very stable
Summary: I had a Gateway P7811FX which is still a good laptop but way too slow for modern games. I researched the crap out of various laptops and a friend then bought the G750JW and loved it. All the reviews were good and my friends computer was quiet and sleek. After delivery (7 days from order) I had to upgrade the OS to 8.1 and all the updates which too a long time. But, once all done, this thing was a HUGE jump in performance.
Excerpt: I had a hard time deciding if I wanted an Apple or Windows laptop as I have both. I finally decided on the ASUS due to running into so many software incompatibility issues and of course the price of the Apple. I am not a gamer, but I am a photographer and the speed of this laptop for photography editing software is great. It is extremely fast. The only thing to watch for is when you are unplugged switch the power setting to "performance" or it slows down a lot.
Fast and reliable so far, you should to upgrade to windows 8.1, asap, its free

Summary: Like it so far, but i thoroughly hate windows 8. Would love this to be on a windows 7 platform. But i dont fault the laptop for that. Seems very fast and has processed any graphics i needed it to so far..
