Summary: I've had issues with laptops breaking down in the past, but this has been a joke. To be fair, this was purchased as a refurbished unit (Tiger Direct, Ontario, Canada), but I've had it sent in and repaired by Asus three times now, and I end up with the same problems again within a few months. The laptop runs insanely hot (without using the over clocking function or running intensive programs), to the point where the back vent starts to melt and warp out of shape.
Pros: - Good hardware specs
Cons: - actually overheats to the point of melting the casing, - VERY obnoxious bootup sound that can't be changed, - horrible battery life, - two blue lights on the back of the screen actually bleed through the screen on darker images
