  • Summary: This is 9/11......total catastrophe shipping and everything was fine until it hits then blue screens everywhere. Could not get this damage repaired no matter how hard everyone and I tried.

  • Summary: I will NEVER recommend an Asus product to anyone...EVER! I went through three consecutive Asus-manufactured laptops. Refurbished is supposed to be next to brand new (sans new packaging, by law). What I received were three straight up lemons...in a friggin' row! The first one would give me HDD error messages, second one had an issue with the headphone jack where it would get stuck in headphone audio mode - a known issue with the manufacturer that was aknowledged, but...

thermal shutdown several times!

  • Summary: I strong recommend don't buy this laptop. The design is very very bad, the temperature increase very fast after few hours using. After I bought it two months, it become thermal shutdown again and again!!!!! It makes me lost lots of important files. Based on Amazon return polity I can't return after one month. And I ask ASUS to repair,their response this laptop is out of warranty because it's Refurbished!!!!!! If I want to repair they have to charge fee.

  • Summary: This was, quite simply, a lemon. Upon booting the machine up for the first time, I received a BSOD. After restarting a few times I managed to actually get past the log in screen. But it was all downhill from there. Each time I opened the laptop, I had to cross my fingers that it would not give me a blue screen. After a week of trying everything within my power to fix it, I called Asus tech support. 3 times!

Dont Buy

  • Summary: Well i open the box and followed the setup procedures. After i got done with that it needed to restart and when it did it started to BSOD, (Blue screen) For every little thing. I contacted the manufacturer and they said update the bios etc and i did and well the problem did not go away. Also the windows update feature was not responding and after 2 days of trying to fix the problem i decided to return it.

  • Summary: I just got this right out of the box to see nothing but a blank screen at the boot-up. I never even got a chance to see the visual prowess that this machine has. Hard to review much of anything when I'm working blindly. Returning this $900 paperweight immediately.

  • Summary: I was so excited when I received the laptop after two days. However, awful things happened: 1, the win7 system didn't work, it couldn't start 2, the voice of fan was loud. come on, it was a laptop not a car. 3, the CD-ROM wasn't fixed very well. Pls, anyone, whatever, pls don't buy this laptop again.
