Summary: The ASUS support is terrible. It took me several days and calls to get to know how to activate the accidental damage since their website isn't working properly and I've sent them my papers last week and since then I've never heard from them.
Pros: A Strong and Fast machine. I've only played one game on it which was Assassin's creed brotherhood; so I can't tell you if it would handle more demanding games, but that one was great on this laptop.
Cons: The fan is annoying the heck out of me, it never stops though I'm just using firefox and not that many tabs are open (less than 10) and the websites are not high demanding ones although you would think the computer would handle them swiftly but not in my case. I'm a silent user which means most o...
Summary: When gaming on the laptop screen performance is flawless, however when I try to use the 24" asus monitor while starting a game i got 5 min until the graphics card puts the machine in sleep mode.
Pros: Excellent specs and great quality even for a refurbish.
Cons: Only issue I've had is the graphics card keeps crashing.
Summary: I just wasted two days trying to extend my warranty to find out I couldn't. There are places on the website that say I can extend the warranty within a year of purchase, and others that say within 90 days.
Summary: If asus fixes this problem by either getting a stronger pin in there or by supplying a 90 degree adapter this is definatly a good buy. But a laptop just wont run without power. I assure you, i am very carefull with my electronic, i dont even carry the thing arround, its just sitting on a desk.
Pros: This is a geat computer for gaming, runs everything you trow at it. Fast
Cons: Where do i start.. gets really hot is huge, so not good for hauling around. Buy a better desktop for the same price. The main reason why i told you not to buy it is the power pin in the powr input. It just broke of in mine, i researched a little on this and lots of people have this problem and so...
Summary: Dang. Thought I had spotted a bargain with the new Sandy Bridge 8-core processor (2670), 8 GB RAM and what I thought was a good video card. But this card is the nerfed version of the GTX 560M. This card has another .5 GB video RAM, but only 128 bit memory bandwith vs. 192 bit.
