Review Asus F55A Notebook

Notebookcheck
6 February 2013
  • Summary: Cool and quiet. A Pentium processor, a 320 GB hard drive and a DOS operating system make for an inexpensive office notebook priced at around 330 Euros (~$441). Our review shows whether Asus produced a good notebook at a low price or tried to pinch pennies in the wrong places.
  • Pros: USB 3.0, Stays relatively cool, Usually works quietly, The DVD driver installs all the drivers in one go, The quiet operation noise and the low heat build-up.
  • Cons: Working memory can only work in single channel mode (there is only one memory bank), A maximum of 4 GB working memory, Poor contrast display, A better display.
