Would never buy this again and am really disappointed. From the start had problems with it

Summary: Would never buy this again and am really disappointed. From the start had problems with it, tried to reach for help twice and restored pc few times to factory settings. This didn't help, I cannot really use it even just to browse internet. And I cannot ask for additional help as I am not sure this is a hardware fault. but even that I would thought if you buy pc u should be able to use it at least for browsing internet without problems.
Summary: I bought this mainly for my work which requires basic browser and some word processing work. But this netbook is SLOW. I don't think it's because of it's specifications, I think that whoever refurbished it did a horrible horrible job. I've seen the model before and used it briefly and it's usually not that slow. When it first arrived it started downloading windows updates for about 3 hours. It was doing that every day for a while.
Summary: I bought the netbook primarily for travelling. It crashed and completely stopped working after three weeks. I paid to have ot restored to factory settings. The same thing happened a month later. I returned it to the seller, who restored it to factory settings but refused to refund or replace it. I've had it back for a few weeks now and it's so slow it's unuseable. Youtube crashes the browser and it needs to be restarted every hour or so.
Summary: Bought it for an extended travel with only objective to (i) download pictures from camera to external hard drive, and (ii) browse internet to look for / book accommodation and travel (bus/air tickets) during the couple months of travelling. Objective (i) - fully achieved. Objective (ii) - terrible, terrible - this computer was mind-numbingly slow when browsing Tripadvisor / travel sites to the point that we ultimately purchased an ipad mini to do the job, as we did not...
A nice toy with non-upgradeable 1GB RAM, useless for Windows
Elisabeth McKell, Amazon
13 December 2013
Summary: Overall specifications are great (light, silent, etc.) but the 1Gb RAM is soldered in place and cannot be upgraded. Whoever thought you could run Windows 7 or 8 properly with 1Gb of Ram needs retraining. OK if you have time to wait for loading or just tolerable if you want to use only one application at a time - which defeats the purpose of Windows! A waste of money.
Summary: This is my third EeePC. With low price mat screen and characteristics better than my previous netbook it was an easy buy. What a terrible mistake. This machine is so slow that even simple internet browsing is not possible. My old EeePC 701 is many times faster than this piece of crap. The only way to make some usage of this machine was to install Windows XP with no antivirus.
Summary: I purchased a X101CH in May 2012. My idea being that I needed a small machine, for presentations, powerpoint etc. From the word "go", I had problems, the machine is very, very slow for it's specification, my five year old Toshiba is alot faster, than this machine!. The major fault is that the X101CH locks up every 10 minutes or so for two minutes, along with a loud buzzing noise. I have tried installing numerous operating systems, but still the problem persists.
Summary: Brought this for my daugther to introdcure here to computers. Installed some basic office apps but nothing too resource hungry. However, even internet browsing it slow and virtually impossible. Try opening 2 or more programs at once and the whole machine grinds to a halt. And as you cannot upgrade the RAM, thats it - your stuck! ASUS customer service is terrible as is this machine. Sure, if you buy cheap you expect cheap but this is just ridiculous!
