Summary: Right click desktop select properties settings tab advanced turn to dpi settings select custom settings; make it 150 % for better results : run the recovery disc once from a usb dvd and set the resolution to 1024x 768 instead of the 1200 x 800; This allows a 12 inch effect for the entire thing ; you can scroll the window up and down and it will seem as if you are seeing the active part of a greater screen most of the time. Quite ingenious!!
Excerpt: I’m not really a techie type of person wherein I would buy newly released gadgets I would see from those glossy magazine pages. Because I’ve started my business online, the need for these high-tech gadgets has now become a requirement for me.
Excerpt: I absolutely love my Asus Eee PC 904HA Netbook. The biggest plus being the nifty size. I can take it anywhere! It’s been an absolute Godsend, especially around test or exam time at university. Around these times it’s impossible to get a computer in the labs or the library.

Excerpt: This is the greatest mini laptop. We bought these for our girls and they are so happy with them. The Eee is Easy to navigate, lightweight, web cam and windows XP. You cabn but it in pink, blue, green, black or white. Great price too!
Summary: I bought an Asus 901 and an Asus 904 because my existing laptop, although great, is just too heavy for me to carry around all day at the courthouses. This review is for the 904, with a 160 GB Hard drive, Windows XP Home, 1 GB RAM, and 1.6 GH processor. I have had the 904 for 2 weeks now and am thrilled by it. Boots fast (1 minute 45 seconds) and only weighs 3 pounds 1 ounce (according to my postage meter scale). This is less than half the weight of my old laptop.
Summary: I've had my 904HA for about 2 weeks now (I'm typing this review on it). It's my first netbook/laptop, although I am the default techie for my wife's compaq laptop and have used the office laptops periodically. I must say that I am more than happy. I get about 6 hours battery life surfing the net or playing games with the wifi on (brightness at about 75%).
Summary: I purchased this from Amazon.com, shipped on monday, received on wednesday, free shipping, how good is that ;>))
I like a couple of others here initially ordered the 900 model and quickly cancelled it and chose the 904HA, mainly because of battery life and also the larger keyboard, my fingers are not small ;>)
First, let me say everything you are reading about this little, no, tiny computer is true, I am amazed at how fast XP loads up, boom, XP is loaded.
Summary: I have had this laptop for 4 days now and 100% love it. The size is insane.
I have owned 2 laptops over the years...a 15" and 17" and what I hated was lugging it around. I would always have to take the AC adapter with me...now I can leave it at home.
It's so lightweight...this thing weighs like 3 pounds.
It comes with a simple zipper cover and I can actually fit my Logitech track ball mouse inside with the laptop.
Summary: I got this netbook last week and am having a great time with it. I have a decent core 2 duo 14" laptop and when I use the two side by side, my new netbook has no problem keeping up with the speed of the other one.
Let me break it down for you here...
1) Why I chose to buy Asus eee pc 904ha - I considered several options, but the reputation of Asus won me over. And then from the various models, I was getting differing opinions concerning celeron vs atom.
Excerpt: "This an old netbook - and as a result nowadays not a great one. It was also part of a plan/promotion on T-Mobile and 3 a few years ago (when it was first release, around 2009) so there are quite a few in circulation - going for about £200 on Amazon, and around the same on gumtree and Ebay - no doubt around the same in second hand shops - and in my mind that far to much to pay. If you come across one of these hold out, save up and but something ...
