Brilliant product for the internet junkie!

dawnmarywhite, Dooyoo

  • Excerpt: I absolutely adore my Asus Eee PC 701SD. I have been using it for several years now and with the exception of a very, very reasonably priced replacement keyboard (coffee + dog = keyboard death) it's still going strong. It's pretty bomb proof due to not being over complicated.

  • Summary: This arrived and I couldnt wait to get on-line, a lovely compact netbook, went in my handbag with no problems. I couldnt get on-line because no wireless network in my area, or my house, but I bought a dongle from Vodafone, no problems now, just have to top up now and again.

I love my eee!

  • Excerpt: I have had my Asus Eee for over 2 years and, whilst there have been a few problems with wear and tear, I think that is probably due to the extremely high level of use I have got out of it! I bought it whilst at university as an extra to my desktop pc, thinking I could take it with me to lectures.

Forget Kindle and other expensive e-book readers

L.Moore, Amazon
5 November 2009
  • Summary: For the price, this thing is worth it just for reading e-books - bearing in mind that it can also download new ebooks for you, as it has good internet accessibility. It's about the size of a largeish paperback, and a similar weight.

Little Treasure!

Janet Male "oya1", Amazon
10 October 2009
  • Summary: What a fab and cute little wonder! And what a doddle. All set up and surfing the net within 5 minutes, yes that's right, only 5 measly mins! As an added bonus it arrived with Windows XP, I was expecting something I'd never heard of called 'Linux'.

Still excellent and still an innovator.

  • Excerpt: Well here go then. The original and arguably the best of the 1st generation of netbooks. Netbooks offer truly portable computing on a compact all in one package. This innovator from Asus is definitely very small and crucially, highly capable.
