Awesome For Travelling And Great Battery Life

Bubbalicious, Amazon
5 August 2014
  • Summary: I purchased this from Amazon Warehouse for $160 because I wanted a disposable laptop for travel. It fit in a tiny backpack and I carried it around Asia for two months. It plugged directly into 240v sockets too. It's also pretty light, like a 100 page hardback, and it took a bit of abuse. It worked great in WiFi cafes, played movies to my LCD TV in hotels, and with a wireless mouse, was a joy to use. I hate touch pads.

Fixed wireless

Stephen, Newegg
20 July 2014
  • Summary: Battery life is great. Quick to boot.
  • Pros: Computer works great now. The home router Dlink N300 is incompatible with this computer using Windows 8.1. It came originally with Windows 8 and the wireless used to work. I can hook up to my hotspot and it's great!!
  • Cons: Stll noisy fan

Great Laptop for the price

Zak, Amazon
24 December 2013
  • Summary: The laptop works really well and offers everything that it said it would. But, make sure to keep in mind that you sometimes might not be able to open up a power point on a computer that runs on an older software. That is the only downfall I have experienced. Other than that, it is very portable, sleek, and gets the job done.

Get netbook except for...

R. Munnerlyn, Amazon
22 December 2013
  • Summary: This netbook was purchased for my daughter to completed her online homework, she is 7 years old. And she has managed not to break it, thou it has been a learning curve on Windows 8. And that has to be the only part that sucks is Windows 8, this laptop can be a bit slow and the touch pad is a bit twitchy but for what its used for its perfect and she loves it. And I have been using it to, to run Stetchup 2013 and its been running that just fine.

Great, cheap netbook case

brkkab123, Newegg
15 December 2013
  • Summary: 1st reviewer is a complete idiot. If you try to put something that's too big in anything that isn't made to hold it, it's going to break. Does he/she try to put a gallon of water/liguid in a pint container, too ? Probably does. This case is sold as a 10.1" netbook case, not a 11.*" case.
  • Pros: Holds my 10.1 Asus 1015E-Ds01 perfectly. Also fits the power cord, external h.d. and numerous flash drives in the 2 zippered pockets. All this for under $12.00. Not bad at all.
  • Cons: None what so ever. It does what it's supposed to do.

Overall great! Unbeatable price for this little one. Just need a little effort on our side & is ready to go :)

Lawrence, Amazon
9 December 2013
  • Summary: I've seen complains that Ubuntu is not working for one or another :)... and this put the rating down to 4 stars? Come on! 99% of us put Windows 8 or Windows 7 on them & works wonderful. This is a cheaper version and is suppose to involve a little work on our end to be up and ready... a format & a 20 minutes install. Otherwize, if you are lazy, the complete version with W8 is with $100 more expensive. Personally I love it!

Great device, great price!

Guitar Slinger's dad, Amazon
6 December 2013
  • Summary: Perfect for a kid who wants to learn more about computing than the usual MS/Apple path. My son loves it! He is getting ready for college next year, and this is more of a techie minded device than your normal run of the mill laptop.
