Summary: This computer sucks, it doesn't like to connect to the internet, charger port gets shot after a couple days, and screen doesn't stay on for more than a few minutes and you have to restart the computer for it to work.
Internet connectivity stopped working soon after purchasing. Good weight and battery life.

Summary: I use this for basic stuff such as MS Word, surfing the web, etc. The battery life and weight are good, I can get 5 hours at least doing those basic functions. 2 stars because after only a few months the internet connectivity stopped working. Whats the point of a computer that can not get online? Worthless. Also, it gets rather hot after being on more than an hour. I called ASUS support and spoke with 2 different tech people- they were NOT helpful.
I know you get what you pay for but this was below even that.

Summary: I'm a college student and figured this would save me a large amount of time, taking notes in class. Since the keys are so small and centered you make a T-Rex stance with your arms that gets very painful regardless of how you sit or raise/lower a char. WORST of all is the touchpad. The left and right mouse buttons are actually a part of the touchpad and not seperate. So, when you lift your finger up and go to press the left button to click on something...
Summary: while the size fits the need that was there the keys keep freezing & the wireless seems to be having issues staying properly connected k keep getting limited access while my cell phone gets good signal. windows 8 only makes sense with touch screen k that was my error.
Summary: We bought this computer for our travels but it's so slow that we had no time to actually use it before leaving one place and going to another with Wi-Fi connection. Besides the letters are too small and when we enlarged the text it didn't fit the screen.
Summary: Was so excited to get this laptop but it ended up being a waste of money. Yes it works..but that's about it. It gets hot REALLY fast, the charger is loose, it takes FOREVER to charge, it is bulky and slow.
Solid little laptop - open your mind and give Linux a try!

Summary: Changing my review on this, I can no longer recommend it because the screen is just awful and it's gotten worse somehow. The rest of it would be a solid value for the money, but the screen is intolerable, colors are washed out and it seems like it has 1/2 the refresh rate of anything else I've ever seen. It makes my eyes uncomfortable after just 15-20 minutes. If they spent an extra $10 they could have put a screen in this thing that was tolerable.
Summary: Seller was great but item was junk. I work with software and computers and bought this for my wife as an alternate computer when she is just surfing the net or reading emails and found the mouse to be terrible and the entire system slow. Seller provided RMA and I returned it and bought my wife a tablet instead and now she is in heaven and doesn't have to lug her laptop around from upstairs to downstairs.
Summary: I bought this notebook because I have a 3 year old Asus eee pc notebook that has been a great little computer. I teach in southern China where the climate is hot and humid and used this computer daily in my classes. It has been a solid workhorse. I thought I should get another because I was worried the old one might die this school year. The new notebook is very disappointing. First, is Windows 8. There are enough bad reviews of that OS, so I don't need to elaborate.
