Summary: The good: -Cheap -Small/Lightweight -Good battery life -CHEAP. The bad: -Poor trackpad (Use a mouse) -Not powerful whatsoever (I've crashed my browser multiple times just trying to load more than one tab at a time) -And my biggest complaint (and why I decided to write a review) is the charger for it.
Excerpt: Acer laptops are beautiful, true enough, but they have the worse lifetime ever. If you don't know what I mean, then I mean, likeee how long they last. They are very pathetic, at keeping up. I would say if you are a careless person, get a hardbook, or an Toshiba. They work wonders! And they are built tough!
Excerpt: I bought one of these; and just to anyone reading out there.. "DON'T." I have never had so much trouble with a computer in my life. It is easily prone to viruses ( it even got one from using "google".) I partially blame myself though since i only had firewall and not anti-virus. But 3 days after i installled antivirus software...the hard drive CRASHED. I had to send it to ASUS for repairs and god knows how long that will take.
Excerpt: I hate this stupid netbook, it's terrible and it can't function properly at all. It barely serves it's basic function, which is internet use, and it freezes on me all the time, especially when I'm typing essays on the word processor or video chatting. There hasn't been one day that I've had this netbook that it hasn't frozen on me.
Summary: It is what it is...cheap and okish! By the time I had an antivirus up and running it slowed down to almost painful. It works but only really suitable for email use. If you try to do anything complicated like book holiday flights, hotels etc. its just stop and go, stop and go. If Microsoft decide to do updates it takes over for 10/20mins! Its so frustrating! Good points. It'svery light and simple.
