Summary: I bought this laptop October 2010, It stopped working on a travelling trip in July 2012(only a few months after warranty expired). I carried it by a technician,in short there was a problem with the motherboard that wasn't worth the effort & time to fix.
Summary: I am a big fan of the ASUS EEE-PC 1000 models. I had a 1000HA that I used every day and enjoyed. It was durable and resilient to my usage. This new thing is inferior, though. (1) The keys don't feel as good to the touch.
Summary: Product was received promptly and packed very well. Netbook looked great and initially I was happy with it once I turned it on. However, once the initial buzz wore off, I noticed the battery life was horrible.
Summary: This machine is a piece of junk.. spend the money and get a better machine..It's slow. It will not play itunes properly..I have spent hours days weeks trying to get this thing to work. Waste of time and money.
Summary: The net book looks allright - very light and sleek. But about 2 weeks in, I started havimg some issues with logging in. WHen I switched the machine on - the screen would read - 'Preparing to configure Windows. Pleased on't turn your computer off.' And the message wouldn't go away.
Summary: I have had this product one month and when it works, its marvelous. However most of the time when starting up, the desktop freezes which then requires a re-boot. I deleted some of the startup programmes believing that may be one of them might be causing the problem but it STILL freezes.
Summary: Mine too arrived with the wrong battery - 23 Wh when it should have been 48 Wh. As soon as I phoned up and explained the problem, Amazon immediately offered to replace the computer or to take it back for full credit.
