Summary: One year ownership: This Laptop is awesome, for the price you just can't beat it. It has a beautiful diplay I don't notice it anymore unless I see someone using another laptop besides me then you can really compare the resolution.

Summary: I'm struggling to find words that express how much I loathe this laptop and ASUS. I've had it for 9 months and have never been able to use it for more than a few aggravating days before its seemingly endless defects take over. I'm shipping it to the ASUS "repair" center yet again today.

Summary: Got this as a Christmas present for my mother to get her used to windows again. I have it boot to desktop and she can't tell the difference between this and 7. With 10 being a free upgrade when it's released she's good to go for a long time!
Summary: PROS: -6GB of RAM -Good keyboard layout -Runs like silk after installing windows 7 Home Premium -HDMI port -DVD-ROM Cons: -Doesn't have Caps Lock indicator (you can solve it with "Keyboard LEDs 1.0") -The sound quality is ok -The viewing angle of the screen - Only 2 USB ports -The battery is not...
Summary: Perhaps the worst laptop I have ever used. Keyboard is terrible, cheap. Keys feel loose. Touch pad is large and interferes with typing. Battery life is very bad, even after putting in an SSD. Screen is ok for a budget laptop. For the same money get a budget priced lenovo and skip this offering.
Summary: Can be frustrating at times getting things to work correctly. When it works, it's great. Slow booting up and mouse scrolling and gestures as well as keyboard just become unresponsive at times. Can be frustrating but overall not much worse than I expected from a laptop in this price range.
Summary: Bought for my 7 year old son. He plays WoW, LoL, TF2 and Heroes of the Storm beta just fine. The upgrade to Windows 8.1 isn't fun and can be very time consuming - but that's not Asus fault. It has been a great laptop for the price. He loves it.
Summary: My Autistic Stepson wanted a new computer, He had been using a 10.1 net-book and want a little bit bigger laptop with more power to play his games. He is very happy that he can now play MineCraft.
