Summary: Props to the fast delivery but this computer is very slow to respond especially when you go on the internet. Cant install office because its going to make it slow. Windows start up is slow too considering the fact that I don't save files and install anything. But I do love their new pcs, esp the Transformer one.
Summary: So this computer has been proven to be a lemon by IT professionals and amateur web surfers alike. I've had this computer for 2 years. Sent it in for service to ASUS three months after getting it out of the box due to how SLOW it was completing even basic tasks (ie. opening Microsoft Word took about 3-5 minutes). Got the computer back. Said they replaced the board. Computer ran even slower. What I would like to know is A.
Summary: I have bought, literally, 5 ASUS laptops and counting. And, you know what, I am done with brand loyalty. Brand loyalty is for suckers. I am also done with cheap laptops with cheap components. Here's the thing. ASUS *CAN* make a VERY GOOD laptop. However, you have to be willing to shell out the premium bucks if you want their quality stuff. Their Republic of Gamers (RoG) line is actually quite good.
Summary: I hate this laptop. It is slow. Can't do more than one or two things at the same time - however - for temporary traveling this machine does the job of keeping finances straight, plotting the route for the next day, and logs into several weather sites to see what kind of weather to expect. So... if you do fantastic things on the computer like I do at home, this little jewel will only do 1 thing at a time.
