Summary: This netbook is excellent in all aspects that I have made it go thru. Lightweight and function is like a high dollar desktop, Wish it had a dvd drive and if it came with a longer life battery although the standard battery has a 3 hour use time the 9 cell li ion has a much longer use time,8 plus hours! between recharge! Great netbook and used is great at around $100,some $80 some $110. Highly reccomend for anyone, novice or expert.
Summary: It is quick it is easy to use.the start up is so quick you don't have to wait. they are easy to replace parts if something breaks.they also take a lot of abuse. I have two of them which I would not part with them. I bought the second laptop because my wife had one. when I used hers I loved it.there is nothing that I dislike about this laptop. I have a dell and after using the toshiba i put the dell to rest.
This is the best purchase I made this year, so far.

Summary: I initially purchased the ASUS netbook for my daughter (college student). She was looking for something to research on the internet, something fast and dependable, and portable. With the ASUS this is all rolled into one portable netbook. It is easy to operate and she easily completes her reports while on the go. I am considering one for myself.
Super sturdy machine. Very dependable as one would expect from ASUS!

Summary: Been dealing with PC's for 20 years. I've found ASUS mother boards in every brand of computer and, they are made very well. Don't hesitate if you can get a nice ASUS Eee PC 1005HAB because of their performance, dependability and durability. The "H" means it has a real hard drive (about 160GB) inside instead of a tiny ssd (about 4GB or 8GB) and the "A" will assure it has the Atom processor by Intel. Not sure what the "B" indicates.
Perfect computer for small tasks, and browsing the internet.

Excerpt: I had the choice of either buying a portable DVD player or a netbook to keep my toddler entertained for long drives. I decided on a netbook mainly because its just a few dollars extra and serves many purposes. After reading multiple reviews, I narrowed down on this one mainly for its battery life. Even while playing video, with bluetooth and wireless off and screen at maximum brightness, I still get around 6 hours of life. With regular browsing I get around 8.
Excerpt: I got this netbook for a second computer for when our laptop was in the shop. It is so lightweight that I can take it anywhere. The screen is a little small so sometimes it is hard to see what I am used to seeing on the laptop, but it gets me by in a pinch. Have had no problems with it in the few months I have had it. The brand was recommend by more than one salesperson at Best Buy so I got it since it was the cheapest brand they had.
