Summary: Having used a PC my whole life, trying to use this laptop was a nightmare. If a Mac is all you've ever used, then it might be good for you. I spent too much time just trying to figure out the simplest of things. I finally gave up and gave it to my daughter. She loved it. I hated it. My one star rating goes to all Apple products, just because they can't seem to make things easy for those who want to change operating systems.
Summary: Got the computer in timely fashion but as soon as I got it the battery was no good. Three weeks later it needed a re wire due to overheating.... Once the computer technician opened it up he said there had already been a previous re wire and doing it again won't help for very long. Highly disappointed in this purchase.... There was no warning in the sale info that the computer had already had a re wire or that the battery was no good.
Summary: LAPTOP WORKS OK, BUT I WAS TOLD IN THE AD THAT IT WAS IN PRISTINE CONDITION. IT HAD BEEN DROPPED AT LEAST ONCE. BUCKLED METAL IN TWO PLACES. ONE CORNER WAS BADLY BENT. OTHER, CHEAPER LAPTOPS, SAME COMPANY, TOLD OF SCRATCHES AND DENTS, THIS LAPTOP HAD THOSE AND MUCH WORSE AND WAS CALLED PRISTINE. SHOULD HAVE SENT IT BACK, BUT HAD INVESTED TO MUCH MONEY GETTING DATA TRANSFERRED AND HAVING TO. GET I-LIFE LOADED SO I COULD TRANSFER PHOTOS.
Summary: I purchased this for my son on December of 2012 as a Christmas present. By August the machine shut down and will no longer power up. The diagnosis is a failed Logic Board. Paid $400.00 for a computer that lasted 8 months... Contacted the seller for assistance and not responding. I recommend you search the tech forums prior to making a purchase of one of these Macs. Not a good product and expensive to repair.
Summary: I bought one of these laptops last Christmas , when I first got it, it would not hold a charge, I called company and they sent me new battery, all was good for 5 months, then the computer just stopped working all together, I brought it to Mac people and they told me the mother board was blown, that it was defective.. So I got about 5 months out of it and paid over 600. ... Not such a good deal:(. I would never recommend this to anybody.
Summary: I got the item in the time limit, but only five of the keys work on the keyboard. And the ones that do work do something entirely different than what it's supposed to do. I'm completely disappointed and livid about this whole issue. The seller is slow at communication and their number on their site doesn't work which makes it even harder to contact them. They've shaken my feelings toward Amazon, which is sad since I've used this site for years.
Summary: Purchased this "refurbished" Macbook Pro that supposedly came with Microsoft Office 2008. Within two months, the software was removed from the hardrive from a remote location. I do not feel comfortable using this laptop knowing that it is being looked at and spied upon from another location. I have called the customer service several times and no response.
Summary: I was working with the gentleman that sold me this computer because it would not turn on after about 3-6 months of owning it. Franz was so incredibly helpful and bent over backwards just to get this computer up and running again! It was working for about 2 months from that point and is now no longer turning on again. I have tried contacting Franz twice now and have no gotten a response. After spending about $700 on a used computer this has become SO frustrating.
