Summary: "OS X COULD NOT BE INSTALLED ON YOUR COMPUTER. FILE SYSTEM VERIFY OR REPAIR FAILED. QUIT THE INSTALLER TO RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AND TRY AGAIN." Computer permanently locked up. Option-On/Off, Command R-On/Off, nothing works. Computer is a dead stick. A $2,794 computer should last longer than 2 years. I will never buy Apple products again. I have an Airport Extreme with Time Capsule backup, but it does no good when the computer can'y even be force rebooted.
Perfect computer offering users with a really great experience if you don't use Cuda Acceleration.

Summary: Apple replaced the logic board, wiped the computer, did a fresh instal of the OS, and also a fresh instal of all the programs during the beginning of 2015. The GeekBench scores are the highest of any of the similar computers (at least on the day of my testing). But here's what's happening. The Macbook Pro Retina has a GeForce GT 650m with Cuda Technology and it can't handle editing in Premiere Pro with Cuda Acceleration turned on.
Absolutely don't buy it until they fix the charger

Summary: Love the computer, the charger has got to be the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen in my life. The first charger died within 2 months of purchasing the laptop. Go to the Apple store, no problem, they replace it for free, this one didn't even last 4 days. So now I've got to make another trip back down to the Apple store to replace it again. I have always heard that Apple products were incredibly well made but apparently that doesn't extend to the charger.
the Apple MacBook Pro 15.4" Laptop with Retina Display

Summary: Detailed item info Product Information Incredibly powerful. By design. The all-new MacBook Pro started with a blank slate - without the constraints of legacy technology. That gave us the freedom to imagine something radical, something entirely different. A notebook so thin, so light, and so powerful.
Summary: I bought my Macbook Pro 13" Retina Display with 256 SSD a few weeks after its launch from JB-Hi Fi in Perth in October or November 2012. It served me well until the last month when a dead pixel has sprung into existence right in the middle of the screen. The only reason I bought this product was to enjoy the retina display technology and trust apple's history in delivering quality products for an elite cost.
Pros: Never had an issue within warranty period
Cons: Overpriced product, Cheap quality retina display(Will start producing dead pixels right after 1 year)
