Summary: excellent, very powerful and loaded with programs for media pros. this series of MAcBook Pro still has the CD/DVD Rom built in. Not sure why they got rid of the CD Drives on these other than making it lighter. without the drive it only accounts for a few ounces of weight. not worth the sacrifice. this is why this model is better than most of the newer MacBook Pros out there. when Steve Jobs was alive they made a great product.
Summary: I wanted a durable portable at reasonable cost--and MacBook definitely fits that description. This model (June 2007) performs better than a newer PC (known brand!) which is four years newer, and cost its owner much more. MacBooks are a safe choice for most consumers general use.
Summary: Best purchase I've made this year. I can't say enough good about this Apple MacBook. Buying another laptop that runs windows you will be missing out. The Apple MacBook was exactly as advertised, I am very satisfied.
Summary: This Apple MacBook Pro is a welcome addition to my video and audio systems. Super fast for editing and hyper responsive for my deejay system. The only drawback was the battery which only holds a charge for about 30 minutes, which isn't a problem because I plan on purchasing a new one anyway. Overall, a lean, mean awesome machine!
Summary: The MacBook is a pleasure to use. It replaced an old, dim Dell laptop that was overdue for replacement (XP support expired), and I wanted a MacBook so I could easily network and share files with my iMac, among many other advantages. The MacBook's backlit keyboard is great. I'm not a "touch" typist, so being able to see the keys in low light conditions is a huge advantage. The display is true HD with ultra-sharp contrast and gorgeous color rendering.
