Summary: Got my refurbished MacBook Pro and it was in good working order but had a nickel size dent in the top (performance not affected). I also found that I needed to order a newer OS to update the flash player which meant videos on some pages didn't work until I installed an updated OS a week later (had to order from Apple).
Summary: After doing more research on "recertified" items on Newegg, I learned that repairs are actually not performed on them. They don't give refunds, and will only replace it with a similar item. I thought. I had read every single condition of sale before I bought it, but I guess I missed the most important part: I have yet to deal with customer service, so we'll see if it's really as much of a nightmare as reviewers say they are. Summary: I got the 16gb Ram configuration, 256 GB Flash derive, Super fast boot and program startup. All systems work as expected. The unit is thin and light, very portable. The retina display is the best in any laptop I’ve ever seen. Store did a great job g...
A little bigger than a tablet, but lightweight and easy to tote around.

Summary: I'm very happy with this little machine. My only complaint is that it doesn't support Quicken for business. But then, I really hate Quicken and wish somebody- anybody would come up with a viable alternative. In the meantime my old hot running lap top can stay on my desk for bookkeeping, taxes and other necessary evils and my MacBook can bounce around with me for more fun tasks. Also like that I can take photos with my phone , then edit them here.
