Summary: I’ve been a slave of media and arts since high school days. And fortunate enough, my parents provided me with equipment for me to be able to develop and hone my skills as well as to feed my passion. As of present, I am a freelance video and graphic artist. Since high school my parents provided me a Macbook to start with.
Summary: At this price, you expect to get a good product. And that's pretty much what this is. The ease of use, the features, and capabilities of the OS are all there, and the performance isn't bad. My complaints have to do with the physical design. The SD card slot is shallow, so standard-sized cards won't fit flush. They may think that if they make it easy to keep a card in the slot, people may use it for storage expansion rather than buying a whole new MacBook.
Move from PC to MacBook the best choice I made in years
3 weeks ago
Summary: I bought this used to replace my 2 year old Acer laptop. I could not be happier with the one desire for a larger hard drive. The flash is incredibly fast. For that matter everything on this MacBook is supper fast. I was one of those long time PC owners that finally gave up because a quality PC laptop is now more than my MacBook Pro Retina. The Retina display is very impressive. I was most surprisee by web pages. They are so much better than clearer than on my 14" Acer.
Summary: I absolutely love my new MacBook Pro.....what a pleasure it is to use compared to the average computers. Since I purchased my MacB. I am constantly on the computer .... prior to MacBook I never looked forward to checking my emails and Facebook page. I almost always had aggravation of some kind. THANK YOU MAC for being such a pleasure, I will never go back.
Expensive, not intuitive, lacks strong integration and syncronization with Windows data

Summary: Wish I had gone with one of the new Win based super thin laptops. This product was really expensive. I note used a Mac in 20 years. The ease of use advantage over Win has gone away, in fact, in many ways it is not intuitive. You have to grow up with it to like it. Issues like syncing Outlook contacts and data from this to your Win devices has not been addressed properly. All Apple says is "pay us a lot to use our cloud and put everything there".
