Summary: My daughter's MacBook Air battery bulged deforming the keyboard several days ago. It took 3 days to make an appointment at the local Apple store. I'm not sure what happened next but she came back home crying with a piece of paper in her hand $129 for a new battery, $39 to replace it and $139 for a new keyboard. I could not believe they did not consider the battery as defective so I went to the Apple store myself and asked for a manager.

Summary: This is the second Mac Book Pro I have purchased from AMAZON, this model purchased in early 2012, and another 15" MBP model 3 years earlier. I seem to be having repeat problems as the Mother Board in this one is diagnosed as faulty, related to the graphics card. AGAIN!!! I had this problem with the last one, and after it served me 3 years I thought it was due a change, only to have the repeated problem on this model, after ONLY 18 months from from Date of Purchase.
Summary: After a couple of lemon PC products, I chose to try out a Mac hoping that it would provide a quality experience on par with its price. First off, I really do like my MBP... once used to the OS it is pretty easy to get around, and the overall build is great... eg the keyboard is one of the best to type on. But about a week after I got it, it started to randomly lose wifi... sometimes once a day, sometimes five times in five minutes.
Summary: Even though since 1984 I have directly purchased over 60 macintosh computers for private and business purposes and indirectly hundreds more to clients by recommendation. From 1988 to 2010 I was a graphic arts professional, electronically based on Macintosh computers, and a consultant to other such professionals in helping them deal with computers in their business.
Summary: I purchased a new MacBook Pro 2011 model February 2012. Every day I had this computer, something failed on it. The most-common failure is the computer failed to sync with my other apple products. Every time I attempted to sync the laptop, it would fail the first couple of times. The second most-common problem is that the computer would hang, most of the time while I was doing work on it. Once it even hung while attempting to draw the login box just after power up.
Summary: NB, I probably got a lemon (that's what my friends say, at least). I bought this MacBook Pro to replace my six-year-old PC (a Sony Vaio), but it was basically no better than my old PC, so I returned it. Big problems: it took 36 seconds to open Microsoft Word. Why on earth would a brand new computer take that long?
Summary: This computer came defected. My wife was so excited to open the box, but quickly came to see that it did not function as it should. The mouse moves erratically, clicks randomly and my wife is extremely frustrated that she cannot do her work. We are taking it in to get fixed, but are still so disappointed to have spent the money we did on this product only for it to come defected.
