Summary: The laptop worked for 2 hours and then the SSD died. I took it to repair and the guy told me that somebody opened it and replaced the 256 GB with a 128 GB SSD (which obviously was not even good because it died in 2 hours of normal use). If I could give it less than a star I would.
Summary: seeing many reports like mine of lcd failure from SLIGHTEST trauma . . . and cracked screens are not covered by warranty (even extended!) Fixing this (model 1369) costs ~ $600! I too was thrilled at first but now at 11 months disappointed.
Summary: UPDATE---(on bottom) Conceptually and on paper, this machine is awesome. After using it for about a month or so, it was still awesome. It is very snappy, and the trackpad is amazing compared to any other trackpad I have used. The display is not perfect (gradient mountains near the edge of the screen due to varying 'tightness' of the bezel), but decent for being on a laptop. They keyboard is backlight, adding value during use at night.
Summary: Brand new product but had concentration of dead pixels on the inner side of the top left hand corner of the screen with a strip of it running along the top right across the screen. I requested for a replacement which was accepted but I was surprised when I got a refund instead of another MacBook Air. It cost me £26.80 to return it to the seller but I never got that money back. I never got any explanation as to why they chose to refund me instead of giving me another one.
Summary: I ordered air book mac I payed 802.00 and when I received it the box was damaged from inside and the MacBook had a hair in side it it looked refurbished totally then someday I emailed amazon and seller to send me the address so I can return the laptop back as I was not satisfied at all ,so the seller ignores me called me a liar saying I am making stories up to return the laptop when I don't need to make stories up its every customers right if they are not satisfied they...
Summary: I bought this yesterday and it was delivered very quickly, however on opening it was found to be a US version (no pound symbol on the number 3). I checked with Apple and they confirmed that UK models ship with UK keyboards. This should be mentioned on the Amazon description, even though it is not an Amazon product.
