too sensitive

D. Maguire "dmag4", Amazon
25 September 2014
  • Summary: the computer is fast and easy to use. I dont even mind the Windows 8. My son loves it for his computer games. The biggest issues is the ridiculous sensitivity of the keyboard/mouse pad. I actually just wrote a review and had it deleted somehow.

So far so good

Harold A. Molina, Amazon
31 May 2014
  • Summary: I'm content with it for the most part. There's still a little getting used to Windows 8. The space bar keeps getting stuck. Also the track pad keeps deleting words as I type them. These are little things you'll just have to deal with.

Nice but could be better

James, Amazon
11 January 2014
  • Summary: I would buy it again. The price was right. The machine works well for the most part. The touch screen is a great feature and the whole system is zippy. Every once in a while the mouse pad will stop working and I have to pull the battery.

dayj3297, Amazon
19 September 2013
  • Summary: After one year plagued by screws falling out of the bottom of the machine, something that I've never encountered so frequently in a laptop, the screen has finally broken. The loss of support from the lost screws started causing the hinges to break, and even with me purchasing replacement screws and...

Do the Pro's over weigh the Con's

Debra Lee, Amazon
23 July 2013
  • Summary: CONS: Purchased this from a Company in California so I figured I would not get any type of service from them after receiving. When I first got it I was disappointed in this new technology, Nvidia Optimus. I assumed it was a separate video card that I could use instead of the onboard video card.

How in the world did they allow a uni-touch pad out the design door?

Compelled to write a review, Amazon
8 May 2013
  • Summary: 11/9/2013 update. After successfully restoring my Acer, I am not having connectivity issues anymore. Go figure. Also I set the uni-pad tap to OFF. I upgraded to windows 8.1 but did not like having MSN email control my computer so I restored back to windows 8.

The cpu speed is 1.7Ghz and it lags

Amazon Customer, Amazon
7 January 2013
  • Summary: The laptop runs very slowly and cool. The contrast, brightness, and colors are dim and below average. The hard drive location is extremely difficult to access. The screen is thin and flimsy and you can actually bend it using only two fingers. Good looking laptop with very bad design.
