Could have had a better configuration out of the box

Summary: Not enough USB ports, too many apps came with it that I don't want. Seems more vulnerable to attacks and more unstable than most laptops. Maybe that is just Windows 8 or the apps I am running, but apps are constantly stalling and crashing. Or pop-ups are having to be managed. Could have had a better configuration out of the box.
Summary: Though the shipping was fast, I can't say I like this computer very much. I hate windows 8, I am getting used to it, but I still can't stand the hoops that windows 8 makes you jump through just get to the page you want. Other than that the touch screen is a nice feature, but I am now wondering why I didn't just a tablet.
Summary: It's a fast and nice looking laptop, but the touch pad is WAY too sensitive and the integrated buttons are equally horrible. So bad in fact, that I had to buy a wireless mouse for it. I bought this laptop to replace a HP Windows 7 model. The Windows 8 OS that comes with it is garbage and the free upgrade to Windows 8.1 is hardly worth the time. I recently bought Office 2013 and it can't open any of the programs (word, excel, etc.).
Summary: I picked this laptop for its price(480 or so when I got it) and specs(was able to run Just Cause 2, GTA 4, on high settings in everything with a couple of mods running and other programs). It set up fast worked well, aside from windows 8 but it's bad no matter the system I think, and I was enjoying it. However the same day I bought it it decided to shut off and not turn back on.
Summary: excellent product, Windows 8 is a new experience, I have a single complaint until recently received heavenly product in my country, and the surprise was that the charger is fully damaged, no charge and can not be repaired
Summary: Bought this laptop to use at school. I needed something that would be sturdy/rugged, powerful, and portable at the same time. I saw aluminum on a PC under $800.00 and jumped on that deal. The aluminum construction, ultra-thin design, and macbook-esque keyboard all promised to impress, however, I was severely disappointed by the build quality. The good: This laptop looked really sharp. It's a very handsome, clean looking design. Aesthetically it's great.
Summary: Nowhere does Amazon mention that this laptop is refurbished. I turned it on only to discover that someone had already set up the machine! I can tell you that this person was Chinese (from the language settings) and completely colorblind (from the garish theme). He/she had already removed most of the bloatware and added a bunch of easily removable junk of his/her own. Also, the webcam makes me look fat. Other than that it works fine.
Good, but not great, plus a little bit of a lemon.

Summary: I bought this laptop after searching far and wide one the web and in the stores. It seemed to be the best value I could find for the features I was looking for. the sound was great, the graphics rendering smooth, the battery life long, and the light weight slim form factor got me hooked on the ultra-book ideal (thought this is not an ultra-book, it aspires to be one). these where all things this computer did better than my old Asus K52F with an i3 processor.
