Summary: Avoid this model if possible. While there are a few nice features about this model, I am suffering from a severe case of buyers remorse. Pros and cons are as follows: Pros - The screen has nice resolution for the money - The keyboard has a nice feel to it, with the best part being the backlit keyboard - I am able to play Rift and Eve on minimum settings - The case has a sleek design Cons - The mouse pad is trash, you will need to buy a mouse to properly use the computer.
Summary: This PC arrived at my house three days ago. I was very excited setting it up and couldn't wait to use it. My excitement was soon put to rest when I tried all night to get wifi working but to no avail. I spent two days with tech support to get the issue resolved almost to the point of the tech support employee saying it might be best to send it back.
Pros: Very nice looking computer. The PC had a very nice interface and it's touchscreen capabilities were a very nice touch.
Cons: Very difficult to connect to wifi. Internet speed is very slow.
Summary: It's a fast and nice looking laptop, but the touch pad is WAY too sensitive and the integrated buttons are equally horrible. So bad in fact, that I had to buy a wireless mouse for it. I bought this laptop to replace a HP Windows 7 model. The Windows 8 OS that comes with it is garbage and the free upgrade to Windows 8.1 is hardly worth the time. I recently bought Office 2013 and it can't open any of the programs (word, excel, etc.).
Summary: The price is great for a computer with settings like this one so I bought it. Shipping is fast. I got it the second business day after I bought it. The design is new, Windows 8 works well. The first software I installed was Chrome and this laptop dead after the first time I open the Chrome. Then I have to reset the computer that will take about 8 hours. So by far, it is still resetting and I have not had a chance to even try the computer.
Loud and annoying fan, windows 8 deserves the hate

Summary: This computer is fine for what it is. It is generally fast enough, does what I ask it to. Two BIG problems to be aware of: First, all the hype is true, Windows8 is absolutely horrible. I am an average computer user who got this for work. I am trying to use outlook, powerpoint, excel, and am browsing the web. That is it. And Windows8 just keeps on trying to insert itself in the middle of the process.
Summary: When I read the specs on this laptop I was very excited to replace my aging Vaio, originally, originally Windows Vista, Windows 7. Big disappointment. Clicking on apps took ten seconds or more to open. Tried to download Windows updates but didn't have the patience to wait for hours over a 10 mbs per sec. connection. On top of this the screen was washed out and had little contrast.
Summary: I was super excited when I ordered this laptop. I had previously owned an Acer and never really had any problems with it. This one, however, has been a constant source of frustration. Within a month of having it, the touchpad hasn't performed right. Sometime the curse will disappear, leaving only the touch screen to help navigate. Tapping on the touchpad will work one moment, then the next nothing.
